Fuerte El Rompido, Cartaya, Costa De La Luz

The hotel, food and facilities were excellent but, above all, we were most impressed with the friendly and helpful manner of the staff. There were a wide variety of activities available. The tranquil location is lovely and ideal for those seeking a restful break. Many thanks to all the staff for making this holiday so memorable and we look forward to our next visit.

It has been an excellecent weekend in the hotel. Although it was opened that day everything but the main pool, which was a little bit dirty was ok. We had some minor points which were sucesfully managed by the hotel team.

We got an excelent offer which consisted in a breakfast plus buffet dinner and 1 hour free spa. All the services to our 1 year old kid were free of charge.

I would improve in the spa the temperature of the main pool and the jacuzzi. my impression is that it was a little bit cold.

The rooms were quite good, the views from the room were impressive and the quality was ok.

The hotel has an indoor pool which ideal for kids.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Fuerte Hotel Rompido Suites, everytime we come we are greeted by the excellent staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, with great views of the sea. The breakfast is excellent and we love lounging by the pool area during the day. We cant wait to come again next year!

Nice four Star Hotel of the Fuerte Group. We had relaxing holidays in this hotel. Nice room with view to the golf area. Rooms are in very good condition. Breakfast and Dinner with very good quality and more than enough.

Wanted a hotel near a beach in Huelva and didn't know about this hotel that I found via Late Rooms.

Really good facilities; pools, restaurant, friendly staff and good standard of accommodation in terms of cleanliness and facilities.

El Rompido town just a few minutes walk away, as is an interesting walk through a nature reserve and the beach which you reach by a free ferry.

We stayed at end of September when it was quiet; might get busy during summer holidays, Next time we're on holiday in this part of the world we'll stay here again.

We have just returned from another excellent stay at the Fuerte Hotel, situated in beautifully maintained, spacious gardens close to the lighthouse and typically Spanish village of El Rompido, where there is a variety of very good restaurants and tapas bars, but very few shops. In the hotel gardens the rear entrance of the hotel leads to the El Faro complex with where you can relax at one of the bars and restaurants to enjoy the lovely views of the marina and the river Piedras. El Faro also provides easy access downhill to the village.

All hotel rooms are very clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious with a pleasant outlook (prices are dependent on whether there is a pool, sea or inland view). There are outdoor and indoor pools with plenty of sunbeds; free beach towels are available. A free airport transfer service was on offer during our stay but the hotel has a short season, closing from mid-October until the following May.

Hotel Reception staff speak very good English - some other staff speak only limited English but are, nevertheless, very helpful, friendly and efficient.All the staff seem to be committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible.

Breakfast is comprehensive with both continental and English dishes. There is a variety of dinner choices with an excellent cold buffet plus a range of chef served hot dishes from which a choice can be made to suit all tastes. There is also a choice of desserts, ice cream and fresh fruit.

There is a large indoor/outdoor bar and entertainments area. Again bar staff are very friendly but their service was on occasions slow because there was only one barman dispensing drinks.

The hotel provides an interesting daytime programme plus varied evening entertainment. There is also a children's club/activities. Our holiday was enhanced by our participation in some of the entertainment experiences provided.

In our opinion the Fuerte El Rompido provides excellent value for money and a very pleasant holiday experience.

Es un hotel magnífico en cuanto a sus instalaciones y ubicación, pero tambien lo es respecto a la calidad de su servicio. Se puede calificar de hotel familiar pero en el que es posible que una pareja sin niños logre descansar y relajarse a la perfección. Instalaciones y ubicación excepcional; desayuno buffet espléndido, limpieza perfecta; animación y actividades muy buena; personal muy profesional ,amable, cercano, y eficiente. En resumen un hotel para recomendar y al que se le puede calificar con un 10. Seguro que volveré. Enhorabuena!!
