We'll Be Back...

I had gone a short time ago for my birthday celebration lunch meal and can only say that this place is outstanding, Divin, delicious, delicious. There probably aren't enough adjectives to spell it out this places excellence.we were treated to starters, mains and desserts and four of us had absolutely nothing to complain about, for our family, that says a lot and we were still communicating about how good it turned out this morning. Our waiter was talkative and provided his avertissement on the menu that's something I completely treasure and the chef became available to talk to us which can be something I wish more places would do the way it shows an interest and appreciation with the customers.Service was friendly and proficient too. A wine was recommended to fit the dishes we had chosen and bread, butter and water was proferred rapidly.Mains included several different dishes, I don't recall what everyone had as most of us started sharing food having a delighted promiscuity. That they are absolutely trustworthy, I assume this is often my new favourite restaurant.

Pizza Al Forno - Yummy Wammy....

Cool place but not that spectacular, Hype drove us to visit their branch in Westfield after a long day getting holiday essentials to our holiday in Palermo, so why not have some pizza.

My sister had a marguerita which wasn't too bad but overall we kind of thought... next time pizza express.

Below Average Fancy Pizza Place, Not What I Was Expecting !

Father's day gift was a trip to Westfields with food thrown in for good measure. Westfields has vast choice of culinary options, maybe too many as it took us about an hour of walking around to make a choice.

We decided to give 'Fire & Stone' (pizzeria with international toppings) a go as it seemed a good option and ticked all the right boxes for variety as we all wanted something different individually. We were given the seats of our choice and were soon digging into the starters that we ordered. what a let down.. the spicy mixed nuts were I would say 95% peanuts with spices sprinkled on top (Was expecting something similar to Nando's !), 'Crisp fried breaded baby mozzarella's' again was expecting similar or better quality than my previous encounters, the cheese was just too chewy and.. hot water came out when you bit them. However my wife did enjoy the 'Crispy wonton king prawns'. The plates arrived for our pizza's soon afterwards, 2 had to be exchanged as they had scuff marks on them and looked unclean.

The pizzas that followed half an hour later weren't too bad but neither were they great (pizza express, cafe uno..have fed us with better). Maybe we were expecting too much..but the bill at £85 (4 Pizzas, 4 starters & SOFT drinks) suggested we weren't, and a 10% service charge automatically added just added to the regret, I would have preferred if I had choice on this but apparently we don't!

On the plus side the staff were pretty good and accommodating, and of course, pizza preference varies person to person.
