My domestic water UV filter failed on New Years Eve when the lamp blew and living in the wilds of southern Scotland my only option to get new replacement lamp fast (I had a previously used spare I fitted as an emergency measure) was to go on the internet. I found a couple of companies online and then phoned to check availability. I got a reply at "The entertainment lighting company" confirming they had the specialist germicidal uv lamps in stock and would deliver asap in the new year. As the price quoted was better than other supplier I found online, I ordered a twin pack online from "the entertainment lighting company" on 31/12/14. The lamps, well packaged, arrived at my door at 11am on 03/01/15, so I am well pleased with the price and especially the speed of delivery over the feastive period.

I was looking for a specific quartz sleeve for a UV filter - hard to search online with a range of possible model / part numbers. Great advice (late at night on a weekend) by email, followed up by a quick phone call to confirm the order. Arrived the next day in the most amazing packaging. Less than half the price and as best I can judge no compromise on quality. Highly recommended.

We required two new bulbs for the floodlights at our football ground. It is a pretty old system and have had trouble locating the correct bulbs in the past. The staff member on the phone was very knowledgeable and was able to identify the correct bulb quickly and accuratly - distinguishing subtle differences between similar blubs, and there was no guesswork involved as we have felt when talking to other companies. The ELC allowed us to purchase just the number of bulbs we required (whereas other companies said we would need to order a minimum of four to make it cost effective for them). The ELC also matched a price that we had paid for one of these bulbs 12-18 previously, and offered us free delivery. As delivery was free, we expected a short wait, but the order arrived the next morning, safely packaged as you would want with glass. The customer service over the telephone when trying to find the right bulb, and then purchasing them was second to none. And for the items to arrive in under 24 hours shows great efficiency and a desire to serve their customers well. Bulbs were installed a few days later and worked without any problems

They do what they say - goods arrived on time - slightly overpacked as it happens but that is no bad thing when glass is involved Will be happy to use them again Keith
