I needed two 55W tubes for my Oase UV filter and was surprised by the prices quoted by pond retailers. I had nothing to compare their prices with, but just felt they were expensive for what was required. Having read through the manual and got the part number and description I searched on Google and came across ELC. Phoned the next day to check the Phillips tube was similar to the OEM one and ordered two at a price less than half of that I had been quoted from pond suppliers previously. I have no problem with companies making profit, but of course they were just marking up the price from ELC or a similar trade supplier. They arrived the next day, superbly packed and I dismantled my UV only to find that Oase had fitted exactly the same Phillips tube. One very happy koi keeper..... I cannot fault ELC on any aspect of their service. Courtesy and knowledge of the product was first class, the packaging outstanding and they arrived the next day as promised. I would certainly recommend ELC and will buy all my tubes from them in future.

I ordered a new UV bulb on Sunday. It arrived on the Tuesday morning and was extremely well wrapped. The price was competitive and the service faultless. (Remember this is during the pandemic when most companies have only a limited workforce in their premises). I was very impressed.

I ordered a uv lamp on the Wednesday evening, simple enough. On the Thursday morning I received a phone call to say the item was out of stock, my mistake I didn't spot it on the web page, and a good quality replacement was suggested. I accepted the alternative item, Philips, and was told the lamp would be despatched that day. The following morning before 10AM the lamp arrived. It was very well packaged and secure. Thank you very much for your service especially during these testing times. I would thoroughly recommend your company and will be using you again.

I ordered a UV lamp which I needed urgently and was presented with 2 options for delivery, one next day for £6.95 (expressed to be courier) and another 2 days + for £4.95 (expressed to be Economy Delivery). I chose the Courier option. When I contacted the company because I didn’t receive the lamp the next day as expected they expressed surprise that I was expecting a next day delivery (having ordered it on a Friday). They claimed that “1000s” of lamps had been sent out and no-one had ever raised it. Out of principle I asked for my over payment to be re-credited as I had been misled. Although the owner did say he would, it was never actioned which is disappointing. My advice would be to call first to check that next day delivery does actually mean next day delivery.

After being ripped off by my previous supplier I've been using ELC for the last 3yrs and found my UV lamp to be a great product with excellent service, next day delivery, well packaged and great price,would highly recommend.

We have been orderiing from ELC for over 15 years, they have a wealth of knowledge. They supply us with good quality, main branded lamps, always provide excellent customer care and offer great prices. I highly recommend. 

My advise is do not buy from these people. It was supposed to be next day delivery but having placed the order they told me the UV lamps I required were out of stock but more were expected in two days. When they arrived I fitted the first one which immediately failed. I then fitted the second one which also failed. I obtained another from a local specialist retailer which didn't fail and is still working. I contacted elc and said that from the nature of the fault it appeared to be a manufacturing problem with the batch. Without seeing the lamps they told me it must have been my fault and showed no interest in resolving the issue. So I sent the lamps back to Philips who said they wouldn't do anything as the lamps were out of warranty; the date stamp at the end of the lamp showed 2016. So I have to rate elc's customer service as zero and just wonder how it was that they were waiting for these lamps to come into stock if they were already out of the manufacturer's warranty? I have to say that I rate Philips customer service as also being very poor. In my opinion, avoid both elc and Philips.

Great prices, great service, prompt delivery. I've used ELC for several years now and they always provide best value for the products I need.

We shopped around online for a better price for UV lamps used in our water purification system and forund The Entertainment Lighting Company. The person I dealt with was very helpful and also very prompt in responding to a request for confirmation that we were ordering the correct replacement lamps. He had exactly what we needed in stock and at a better price than we'd been able to find anywhere else. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands was not a problem either. I have no hesitation in recommending the Entertainment Lighting Company and we'll definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends and neighbours.

After spending some time trying to find the correct replacement UV bulb for water treatment system came across ELC on the internet. I found picture of what I wanted, but just to be sure rang them. No one answered so rang off, 3 minutes later the phone went and it was a man from ELC ringing back to see if he could help. He confirmed that I had chosen the correct light bulb for my requirements. He then took payment over the phone and two days later the bulbs have arrived very well packaged and on time. Excellent service and a good price. Thank you

bought new one metre long philips uv bulb for swimming pool uv-c timer water sanitation unit... delicate item and very expensive from pool stores... arrived so well packaged it took me 5 careful minutes to extract it from multi layers of bubble wrap and quintuple cardboard tubing! price delivered was very good (about £43) anbd delivery was within two days of ordering... BRILLIANT service ELC... will use again without any doubt.... no hesitation in recommending extremely highly.

I emailed a question about the specialist light bulbs and the reply came back almost immediately. The light bulbs have been delivered super fast, excellent packaging. Would definitely buy and recommend. Thank you for the excellent service.

Ordered 3 lamps on 9th October and received the next day. The packaging was one of the best I have ever seen and it gave total protection to the delicate goods. I had a very good communication with the person I dealt with who suggested an alternative to an out of stock item which alleviated a possible 4 week delay. Also included were cotton gloves to prevent greasy fingers getting onto the lamps. The prices were the best I could find online. This company will be my first choice on any further lamp orders for our sports field floodlights. Thank you.

Ordered two specialist lighting lamps. Prompt dispatch and parcel arrived in good condition. The amount of protection around each lamp was impressive, if a little difficult to open.
