I bought a designer lamp about one year ago via ebay but did not receive the goods by now. I wrote about ten emails but never got a response. I called about thirty times with bob and Mr Salmen but I got only promises: "we will ship the goods next week", "you will receive the goods within the next ten days", "I will call you back tomorrow", "the lamp was shipped but no one was at home". However, I never received a tracking number or a shipping confirmation. Keep away, the worst Internet Company by far!

“Never ever”

We made a business with this company via ebay. After a clear payment we was waiting 6! weeks to receive the furnitures. Asked 4 faux leather chairs, one six draw chest and a console table. We got 4 plastic chairs ( much more cheeper!) instead of faux leather, one broken six drawer chest, the console table condition was OK. All of the furnitures quality were very very poor. After we made a negative feedback, they forced us to change the feedback, becouse if we dont do this, they will NOT change the chairs, and the broken chest. We changed, letters came and answers went until the run out of 40 days deadline. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Its pure trash! The company and they products as well!

“NO CUSTOMER SERVICE”

Suggest you don't use this company. I purchased an 8 bulb light fitting. came with 3 different styles of glass shades but should have all been same, was missing shade retaining nut & 1 bulb was blown. After several attempts these were put right but when fitted the unit was faulty. Could get no response at all from customer service or from writing to directors at their home address. If you purchase anything from them and have a problem GOOD LUCK, you'll need it. Can't speak to customer service on phone & they don't reply to emails.

“No idea about consumer rights”

I bought an antique, non-electric pendant from this company and it fell apart after a year. Anyone would reasonably expect a light pendant to last longer and expect some kind of replacement/compensation. In accordance with my consumer rights that is exactly what should have happened. However the Branded Lighting customer service department have no idea what customers consumer rights are. They tried to fob me off by telling me to take it up with the manufacturer of this shoddy product (Endon). I have reported this company to trading standards and I would advise others to stay away from this company.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A MIRRORED CHEST OF DRAWERS FROM THIS COMPANY AND WISH I HAD READ THIS REVIEW SITE BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER. THE GOODS WHERE QUOTED 3-4 DAYS DELIVERY AND AFTER EVERY EXCUSE UNDER THE SUN THEY ARRIVED 4 WEEKS LATE. WHEN I UNPACKED THE SHIPPING PACKING I WAS SHOCKED WITH WHAT I SAW. THIS £360 UNIT WAS MADE FROM PLY WOOD BADLY HAND PAINTED WHITE SO BADLY MADE THE DRAWERS WHERE NOT EVEN ON RUNNING YOU HAD TO LITERALLY DRAG THEM OUT IF THEY WOULD COME OUT AT ALL. THE HOLE UNIT HAD CHIPPED GLASS EVERYWHERE DAMAGE TO THE WOOD PAINT AND REALLY LOOKED LIKE IT WAS MADE IN A SHED BY A CHILD WITH AROUND £30 WORTH OF WOOD WITH GLASS STUCK ON THE FRONT. I AM CURRENTLY IN DISPUTE WITH THEM HOWEVER THEY DONT LIKE REFUNDING YOUR MONEY NOR DO THEY RESPOND TO EMAILS AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

“Utter garbage company!!!”

I have reported this company to trading standards after a conversation with "bob" whilst explaining that my goods have not been delivered he rudely interrupted with saying "alright, alright, no need to keep harping on about it" immediately alarm bells were ringing. No reputable company would speak to customers in such a way. Email after email, no replies, courier forged signature, no goods received, no refund. Reported to trading standards but they are already well known to them. Shame on you branded lighting!!!

I spent £1200 with this company and I returned 2 items to them which were received on 13th August. Its now 6th November and despite Bob in sales promising me a refund for almost 3 months nothing has been refunded. This is theft and my next project after this is to contact Trading Standards and eBay to get them closed down. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, even if it is cheaper it will cost you more in the long run and woe betide you if you want to return anything, you will not get your money back. Its disgusting that they are still trading.

“THEY SELL ON EBAY< BE CAREFUL!”

Do not use this company. They also sell on EBay so be very careful never to use them. They are the biggest joke of a company. I have been waiting for a light for 4 weeks and have now made 11 calls to then and spoken to the same person 11 times and he says every day it is going in the post and then it never does. what do you do??? the biggest joke of a company you will ever come across I promise!!

“Avoid this Company. ”

I ordered a bathroom cabinet and then:- They sent the wrong one Replaced it with one that had been just about trashed Replaced that with the correct item the had a scratched mirror Took them weeks to send a replacement mirror after numerous unfulfilled promises. I have given them one star because at least (and at last!)I have now got what I ordered. They were the cheapest, but if I had my time again I would have paid a bit extra to a more competent company and saved a lot of time and frustration.

“Terrible Company Avoid”

Ordered on line from branded lighting, accepted order and took my money within minutes but when i didn't receive the goods after areasonable amount of time I called their published number and was told that it was only for sales and that i could not talk with anyone regards my purchase and must email. Have emailed and suprise suprise no email responses. So lost money that I will recover through the small claims court and once I have a judgement against them I will follow up with a Garnishee Order ( now known as Third Party Debt order) This is a useful instrument in that it can potentially freeze the debtors accounts.

“Fraudulent refused refunds poor avoid”

Last May 2011 I was refurbishing a 5 bed house. I made some orders which contrary to promised took almost 2 months and still delivery was not complete as it kept on getting lost. I was forced to cancel the order request a refund and reorder from a local shop. Almost a year later despite having been promised a refund for goods not delivered Bob the sales personnel I have dealt with has not provided any refund. First coming up with one excuse after another and thye are now avoiding my calls. will be submitting a county court judgement for the refund in due course.

“Shocking service. Avoid if you need the correct items ”

I can't face writing all the detail but it's taken over 5 deliveries to deliver 2 items correctly. We have had wrong item then wrong quantity then wrong courier details - and always several days between each activity. The products seem ok. You might save a few quid but you could waste days of your life dealing with these clowns.

“Branded Lighting - its service and directorship is are...”

I purchased some lights from this company which on delivery, were broken. Although a replacement set of lights was sent the replacement lights were also broken. On trying to obtain a refund, nobody within this company bothered replying to any of my emails. I managed to get hold of the company director, Derek Salmon, who I must be frank, is about as useful as a chocolate tea-pot. I was advised to return the defective products by recorded delivery and a refund would be received. I spent nearly £12 on having the delivery recorded and although Branded Lighting had received the returned goods, I have been struggling to get my money back. I purchased from Branded Lighting in October 2010 and we are now in June 2011 and I still don't have my refund or even a response to emails sent. This company, if that is what you can call it, should be shut down on the basis of not understanding business principles, customer loyalty or customer satisfaction, but more importantly, on grounds of theft of customers hard earned money. Branded lighting is a joke of a company and I will soon be seeking legal action against it. Branded Lighting, in my experience is definately not fit for purpose. Please spend your money elsewhere, save your time and avoid these crooks.

“AVOID!”

I Totaly agree with the last review!. Terrible experience, had to chase up on my order 2 weeks after initial order. Lights sent were found to be the incorrect fitting type I reqired and up was then told over the phone it was an upgrade without asking me first!?. After further investigation I found that the lights sent were actualy cheaper that the ones I had ordered. Brandedlighting are now ignoring my emails and phone calls. They are inbreach of the sale of goods act 1979 and clearly do not belive the law applies to them. They seem to have no intention of honoring the sale and have pocketed the profit. I would strongly advised no one to order good from branded lighting unless they enjoy being ripped off.

“Extremely Terrible Online Store”

I bought a shaver light back in March 2010, it arrived with a shattered glass front. They replaced it, however the shaver socket on the replacement light was not working. They would not replace this one but instead sent it to the manufacturers to be fixed. I contacted them continuously for updates for over 12 (Twelve) months. In May 2011 they sent me a replacement. My electrician noticed that on this one there were 2 faults, the screw would not come loose and it was cracked, I contacted Branded lighting about this and now they are saying that as I didn’t report the fault within 7 days they are willing to sell me a replacement light for cost price.??????? I rarely write negative reviews, but these guys make cowboys look good! It is now June 2011 and this problem has still not been rectified. Stay Away
