I Got Married In Hoole Hall, And Had The Reception
I got married in Hoole hall, and had the reception there too in September 2006, just before they started the refurbishments.
The staff were absolutely fantastic. I stayed the night before with my parents and bridesmaids, and the following night. I was treated like royalty. We have been back several times and the staff have always remembered us.
The staff were very friendly, and provided a brilliant atmosphere for my amazing wedding,(and even coped with the photos taking an hour longer)
Would definitely recommend having a wedding here.... wish I could do it again!
We were married at Hoole Hall in January 2000. When we booked our wedding in March 1999, we were told that they were already in the process of creating a honeymoon suite and that it would hopefully be ready when we got married.
As part of the wedding package, we were promised that we could keep the knife we used to cut the cake.We forgot about this because we were about to fly off to our honeymoon and subsequently contacted Hoole Hall a number of times but received no response; we were not impressed!
Despite these failings, we had a wonderful day, and almost 11 years on, we wish we could do this all over again!

On The Day, The Staff At Hoole Hall Hotel In Chest
On the day, the staff at Hoole Hall Hotel in Chester couldn't do enough for us - all our guests commented.
The hall is amazing, with high ceilings, open brickwork and iron chandeliers.
As you can use the whole hotel, for the evening reception we were able to have a room for the buffet and another for the children's room, with a TV and toys/games, as well as the main room where the DJ and bar were.
Staff dealt with issues, such as when extra guests turned up, very discreetly and with no fuss at all!
They were flexible with menu's, and they let us change items without charging, and we invented our own drinks package.
