Like the previous post I also have been robbed of £500, I called him on Tuesday this week and made an appointment for the last person in my party to be fitted today Saturday, I turned up at the shop it was all closed and empty no contact deatils in the window nothing he"s just done a runner, again like the previous post Im getting married in 6 weeks and will also be looking to for him.
Hi, same with us - getting married in 4 weeks, and only found out because we went to call them and got suspicious that they didnt answer the phone all day. Hopefully have got everything sorted with another company now, but still £500 down. As with you guys, we will be fighting all the way to get this back although to be honest I'm not too sure where to start. If anyone has any luck, please post here - I will do the same and hopefully we can track him down and get back what is ours!
Hello we get married in 13 days time , we have been well looked after by Anthony formal wear in billericay because of this drama. We only found out today that mr saville is no longer there , we had paid the suits in full £800 we have lost ! The only good thing to come out of this so far is how accomadating Anthony formal wear was. They have put myself and my partners minds at rest. But we also will not stop fighting until we get every penny owed ! Hope you get something sorted. Give Anthony a try if you haven't found anything so far. I'd recommend them 100% xx good luck

Mr Savile Has Gob Bust And No Longer Trading
Thanks to Mr Savile we have no suits as they have gone bust !!
We get married in 4 weeks and he has done a bunk with £450 of our hard earned cash and messed up all of our wedding plans.
I will find you and track you down to get our money back.

We are in the same position :( due to get married in 2 weeks went for final suit fitting today turned up and the shop is gone :( £800 gone and no suits for the wedding in 13 days .. Absolutely heart broken . Mr saville is a heartless coward !

I Have Been Using Mr Savile For Many Years For My
I have been using Mr Savile for many years for my tuxedo hire, in this time I have found them to be very helpful and friendly as well as resonably priced. I also like the way they keep my sizes so all I have to do is phone when I need a suit and it is ready for my collection.
My fiance and I decided to used them for my wedding hire this October 09. I have to say that we where very happy with the service we received. We ordered 6 suits in all. We picked them up 2 days before the wedding, very handy as my best man had put on a few pounds and needed bigger trousers. WQe all looked great. I have always found that Mr Savile always try to go the extra mile, I would recommend them to anyone.

I recentely visited Mr Savile because my dad needed a new suit for a special occasion he had. The staff are very friendly and they definitely will give you a perfect suit for your occasion. The value for money is great, i was suprised when i saw the tag that said how much a jacket was. The website www.mrsavile.com was very useful. I needed to go into the shop but i didnt know that i would like what i saw in there and it is a long way to travel and the website is great for finding out the information. There is also an online shop so if you live really far away you can buy something off of there and it will be dilivered to you within 4-5 working days.

I Visited The Mr Savile Shop Recently Because My Y
I visited the Mr Savile shop recently because my youngest son was having his barmitzvah and I needed to get suits for all my 3 sons and my husband. I received a very good service by the sales staff and the suits were of excellent quality. My youngest son wanted to look extra special as it was "his day" and the shop assistant helped him choose a matching tie and waistcoat , and he also matched up the same ties for my other sons and my husband. We have now received our photo's back from the photographer and I can honestly say the men looked exceptionally smart!

We visited Mr. Saville in Brentwood and my husband really disliked it. He said the suits we old fashioned, heavy and tatty. The guy who spoke to us seemed experienced but really did not understand what we wanted.
9 Months Prior To Our Wedding Date, We Saw A Suit
9 months prior to our wedding date, we saw a suit we liked in the shop window of Mr Savile in Brentwood, Essex. We went into the shop and tried on the suit. It fit, and we really liked it. We briefly looked at some suits on display models for the best man and 2 Ushers, and we had a brief discussion with the elderly assistant. After being convinced that really all the direct Male parties of the wedding should wear the same suits, we ended up with a total of 7 suits! We were told the longer we left it to pay the deposits the more it would reduce the risk of not being able to have ALL 7 suits for our day. We were then told that if we paid for ALL the suits in full that day, then we would have the suits guaranteed and also a 10% (around £80) discount, oh and a free suit! I asked the assistant if we paid in full now, what if something happened and we had to cancel part of the order or even the full order, and were told "don't worry, we are a reputable family company, established for years blah blah. So long as we didn't cancel a few weeks before the final fittings (March / April 07) we would be fully credited. I even pointed out to the wording on the front of his receipt which said 'if cancelled a credit will be give against a future hire', again we were told that is only if you cancel last minute and we loose out on the sale to somebody else, but if you give us sufficient notice we will credit you.
So, we decided to go ahead and pay in FULL 9 months before the wedding. Sadly, 3 weeks later my fiance's mum died, and after many tears and conversations, we decided over Christmas we would not have the wedding we had planned all along, but we would go away somewhere with a few family and friends and get married. When I rang the shop to tell them on the 6th of January that the wedding was cancelled, I was told I could come in and collect a 'credit note'. I tried to protest (nicely) and point out what the assistant had said, and he put the phone down on me. My fiance' today (a week later) went into the shop today with the letter and to ask if we could have our money back, and was told "No, we don't do refunds". We will now have to take this further, on top of everything else!
