Fantastic Staff, Huge Range Of Dresses And Great Location!

The best shop I have tried... friendly staff that help you feel at ease and listen carefully to what you are looking for.

Really accommodating and supportive and offer new ideas and styles to help you make a great decision. P and K were particularly brilliant. Thanks ladies.

Fantastic

So impressed they made my experience so enjoyable, they were fantastic when my sister bought her dress last year, so I went on her referral. They were fantastic they listened to what I wanted as I am getting married in Cyprus, they knew what type of dresses would work best and I found The dress on the first visit. Have to say everyone there was so helpful and welcoming, the dress was within budget so happy days. Thank you London Bride UK and I can't wait for my first dress fitting xxxxx

Amazing Experience!

I visited London bride today with 2 of my bridesmaids and what a wonderful experience we had! From the moment we entered the shop the ladies were welcoming, friendly and attentive. I had already visited a couple of other shops and had found a dress I had fallen in love with, but being as indecisive as I am, I wanted to just try on a few more as well as the dress I loved (which they had in store) just to be sure.

The ladies were all extremely helpful when helping to select dresses to try on. I was particularly impressed as they had remembered all of the details about styles/designs I liked from our telephone conversation earlier that week when I booked the appointment. They offered great advise about other dresses I could try and each one they suggested matched my descriptions and likes exactly!

After trying a few new dresses, I tried the dress I loved on again and instantly knew it was the one! Even though the staff could tell I 100% wanted this dress I felt under no pressure to buy it there at all. The ladies were very patient and helpful whilst I tried on a number or veils and headpieces with the dress and I was not rushed or hurried along at any point, on the contrary, I was told I could try the dress on once more at the end if I wanted to! We were even given a complimentary glass of wine each and had a lovely chat with the three friendly and exceptional ladies at the store.

I had such a great experience at London Bride that I bought the dress today! I was given invaluable advise about the next stages of my dress being made and could not have asked for a better store or staff to buy from. Thank you all so much for your patience and advise today, and I can't wait to come into the shop again once my dress arrives!

Amazing

I bought my dress from here for my wedding in July. From the moment I first walked in with my mum and sister we were treated like old friends. The lovely ladies were all so helpful, and really knew their stuff. They guided me to what would suit my shape, as I was picking all the wrong styles. They were so knowledgeable. I went to a couple of other shops, but nothing compared to london bride. Even after I bought my dress and had fittings nothing was too much trouble. I never went to the shop without coming away smiling, as the ladies there are full of friendly banter and always have smiles on their faces. Such a wonderful experience. I've already recommended a friend who's wedding is next year, and will be doing the same to anyone else I know who's getting married in the near future.

My advice to all brides to be. GO TO LONDONBRIDE

London Bride Love

If you are looking for caring, considerate and expert guidance when searching for THE dress, then this is the bridal shop for you. I have had a great experience with the staff at London Bride and could not imagine getting my dress or recommending anywhere else.

During my first visit to the shop my Mum was made to feel welcome and at home whilst I tried what felt like a million dresses on! The knowledge, guidance and advice from

the staff in the shop was absolutely fantastic. I had described my venue and ideas for the day and I felt that this information was taken on

board by the staff to make sure my dress was perfect. At the end of the visit the staff wrote down potential dress numbers and I felt no obligation or pressure to buy there and then.

I then visited a couple of other bridal shops in London and I was extremely disappointed by the service in comparison to the service we had received at London Bride.

I wanted to go back to London Bride to buy THE dress and they were genuinely pleased to see me again and made me feel so welcome (refreshing after the other experiences).

After I bought my gorgeous Mori Lee dress my fittings were easy to schedule and worked around my busy schedule. The staff called when my dress arrived (they were as excited as I was) and I was made to feel welcome anytime to pop in to try it on! Which I did!

My dress fittings were professional, I was not made to feel rushed, the few little extras that I asked for were not a problem and the alterations were really reasonably priced.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with all of the staff at London Bride. I will be equally sad and excited to collect my dress and will look back fondly at my experince. I highly recommend this bridal boutique for anyone looking for a caring, personalised, expert bridal shopping experience.

Thanks again ladies

Do Not Buy A Dress From Here

I visited london brides on Walworth rd recently, after a glowing recommendation from a friend. I tried on 3 dresses, the service was nice and friendly, the person assisting me offered great advice and I felt no pressure to purchase. I Left the shop very happy with my Ellis bridal dress costing £1000.

HOWEVER, four months later when my dress should arrived, and I had had no contact from them, I called them, and was told my dress would be a week late. When I queried why the dress was late as my wedding was in three weeks, they then said they had called the designer and the dress would be in, in two days. When I went for my fitting, the dress was way too small, all the staff disappeared and seemed very embarrassed. When we queried with the seamstress why the dress was too small, ( and I hadn,t put on weight) she said ' it's not the dress it's her body' I was humiliated as four people attempted to squeeze a dress that was clearly too small on me. The seamstress also refused to turn up the hem saying, ' you are tall it's not necessary'

I left the shop in tears. The next day my mum called and insisted they measure the dress as I am a standard size 16, and had not put on weight. After a weekend of debates and phone calls, they finally measured the dress and discovered it was 4 inches smaller than the size it should have been. We insisted they get a new dress, which weirdly they managed to get in 5 days. I then went for a new fitting, this dress fitted perfectly. We agreed the alterations. When I went back for my final fitting we found the sleeves they had put on were too small ( despite them pinning them on me) and we had to sit in a cafe for an hour while they redid the sleeves. They had also forgotten to do the bustle.

When the owner asked the seamstress why the sleeves were too small, she said ' that's how the lady wanted them!!!!'

On my wedding day my bridesmaid found four pins still in the sleeves.

An absolute disaster, they ruined the experience for me, and I would not wish them on my worst enemy. Steer clear!

We completely understand and sympathise with how unhappy you were that your dress arrived late and was the wrong size. As we explained, this was completely out of our control and was a fault by Ellis who had sent the dress with an incorrect size label, which is very unusual from this highly reputable Company with over 100 years in the Bridal Industry.

When we realised the dress was measuring smaller than the 18uk label, we immediately contacted Ellis, who quickly rectified their mistake, by sending the dress in the correct size.

We were not able to contact them after your fitting on the Friday, as they were closed for the weekend, but did contact them first thing on Monday morning. We arranged for the new dress to be delivered quickly, and both the owner and the manager stayed over 2 hours after the shop was closed so they could accomodate your schedule.

As a gesture of goodwill, we gave you a headdress free of charge, along with the lace required to make sleeves to alter the design of your dress. The owner also made sure she was here to do your final fitting. She agreed the sleeves were not in the correct position, and simply asked you to have a coffee whilst this was corrected by the seamstress.

We are at a loss when you mentioned pins left in the sleeve, as this did not come to light on your final fitting.

You left the shop very happy, and again thanked us for all our help.

Having seen the photo of you in your dress on your wedding day on your facebook page, we are therefore suprised to receive your review as you did not tell us face to face of these bad feelings

Great Bridal Shop

I went here at the weekend with my friend who is getting married. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic but were careful not to put us under pressure to make a decision. The shop is also well presented and the dress range is good with some very pretty dresses at reasonable prices.

Had the similar experience with my sister. We were there to help her pick up a dress, but couldnt because we were told there was nothing for us there.

Awful Service, Rushed And Over Opinionated!!

I must have been in this place on a bad day because I had a terrible experience here. The lady at the desk didn't have much time for me and when I did look at dresses I was told "you wouldn't suit that" "this one is you" and almost prevented from trying dresses I liked. When I did try the first dress the little old lady helping me barely did it up, pulled me out of the changing room and no sooner had i stood on the box to look in the mirror she said "right next dress!" !!! I was appauled at the service here and the strong opinions on what would or wouldnt suit me. The dresses were hung like there was a jumble sale on and everyone in there was miserable. Really awful experience (and I had made a proper appointment - I was treated like I'd walked in off the street!) I won't be going back nor would I recommend it to anyone. The changing rooms are tiny and they put 2 or 3 of you in next to each other at a time... they never even tried to follow up and I was relieved to get out of there.

What A Relief!

I was so overwhelmed by the whole 'wedding dress' experience I felt that i would never find a dress within my budget, then i walked into London Bride and all my worries were put to bed. They are so kind and helpful giving honest advice and because their staff are not on commission you dont feel like your being given the 'hard sell' There is a huge amount of choice including all sizes to try on and they are flexible with price and ordering meaning i could buy a beautiful sample in great condition for a reduced price! These ladies looked after me brilliantly and i cant wait for my wedding day this summer now that all my stress over the dress is over. Thank you!!
