I have just purchased my daughter's wedding dress from here and must congratulate the staff on a lovely experience. My daughter had no idea what she wanted for her wedding dress. The staff were really helpful and pulled out several that they thought would suit her, I have to admit that I was unsure about some of the choices but these girls certainly know their product and how to make a girl look her very best. There is seating in the main shop area and when my daughter came out in her dress I was completely bowled over and in true Mother of the Bride fashion rather tearful! Nothing was too much trouble, they even advised on underwear and shoes. The alterations were carried out to a very high standard and the whole experience was stress free and so enjoyable. I would highly recommend them, well done to all the team you have made this Mother and daughter very happy.

Very limited selection of gowns - no-where near the 200 it boasts.

Very limited selection of sizes - don't bother if you're not a size 10 or smaller.

Unhelpful staff who needed a lot of prompting to assist. Insulted previous customers.

Overall a very poor experience that ruined my day shopping for my wedding gown.

A BEAUTIFULL SHOP, EXCELLENT CHOICE AND VERY HELPFUL STAFF. IT'S VERY LIGHT WITH BIG WINDOWS AND BECAUSE IT'S UPSTAIRS GEIRLS CAN WALK AROUND AND GET A FELL FOR THE DRESS WITHOUT PASSERS BYE SEEING THEM. I RECCOMMEND GIRLS TRY THIS SHOP, MY DAUGHTER LOVED IT AND IS GOING BACK TO ORDER HER DRESS NEXT MONTH

I have just ordered my Enzoani wedding dress from Elizabeth of York and I am thrilled! The total experience was amazing I tried many shops and probably hundreds of dresses before I found Fatima my dream dress. The staff were brilliant very friendly and helpful. I think the best part was walking around the shop in the dress and getting reactions from mothers of the other girls trying at that time, they were completely unbiased remarks but really helped me decide. I can't thank everyone enough. I am so looking forward to wearing my dress next August

Have just ordered my dress from Elizabeth of York today Whao! I am so excited. The whole thing was amazing great choice and lovely staff and the glass of champers topped off the perfect day. I would tell everyone looking for their dress they must visit this shop. Can't wait to wear my dress now.

I recently bought my dress from Elizabeth of York and can't say how grateful I am. The staff certainly go the extra mile with customer service, they made my Mum and I feel totally at ease and nothing was too much trouble. They even altered my Mum's dress as she had lost weight after buying it we can't thank them enough

I recently went to Elizabeth of York in search of my wedding dress. Firstly I made an appointment thinking that it would be a private appointment and not in view of any other customers. This was not the case, the staff and unfriendly and unhelpful, they made inapproriate comments about who I had taken along with me, didn't make the occasion feel special. I would not recomend this shop or the experience to anyone in search for there dress. The one day in your whole life that your meant to feel super special and they well and truely spoilt that!

The staff at Elizabeth of York were of course very welcoming and supportive whilst helping me to choose my wedding dress, however once they had received full payment customer service dropped considerably and I was made to feel as though they didnt really care about my fittings. I was told on two occassions that I could not come to try my dress on on a saturday (even to show my mother!) because saturdays were reserved for girls who were wanting to buy dresses!

Unhelpful and unsupportive to my needs with generally bad attitudes when i voiced my concerns. I have now taken my dress to another bridal shop who are much more friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend.

What a fab shop Elizabeth of York is. I was made to feel special every time i went in. The staff appreciated that it was a big part of my biggest day and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thanks to them i looked like a princess on my wedding day and have recommended them to a number of friends who are getting married.

i would really reccomend elizabeth of york to any girl looking for an enjoyable time. they couldn't do enough for my sister and me. my sister elaine bought her dress last year and we were so pleased with the service i didn't even look in any other shop. the assistant who looked after me was brilliant
