**rip Off - Stay Away**
**I didn't even want to give them 1 star, but it didn't let me do without!** I saw the Ultima City Scape pram and had to have it for my second son! My son was born in October 2011. This cost us over 700 pounds of which we saved hard for months as we are a low income family. Pretty much straight away I noticed the squeeking from the Excel chassis. As the months went on it became unbearable to live with. We were embarressed walking down the street with it! It was so loud it went right through you, and you could see that it annoyed anyone you passed! As a busy mother of 2 sons under the age of 5 and my husband working full time I didn't have much time, so I only managed to take it back in February. By the time i brought it in the chassis was bent and lob sided, aswell as the squeeking, the backrest of the pushchair was broke and the inside of the footmuff was ripped to shreds!!! That cost 60 pounds for goodness sake. They refunded the footmuff (which was good of them!) I gave them the chance to fix it but expressed how disappointed and unhappy we were and how our confidence had gone. Also I bought everything to match and now I had to buy an un matching footmuff. It may not sound like a big deal, but its the princaple of it! As I spent so much money on the product I really didn't expect the policy to refund only up to 30 days!!! I mean honestly that really is not enough use for a 700 product. 4 months actual LIGHT use is appalling for such an expensive item. Their customer service manager was unhelpful and unsympathetic. We were left with no options other than they would keep rerpairing it. Very convenient for busy mums. I am so angry and am going to take this further. They have completly ripped us off and think that it acceptable to treat people like this. Please don't do what we did! I am now using a trenton deluxe mothercare special which cost less than 300 pounds, the one we used for my eldest and has not caused us any problems 1st or 2nd time around.
I had the PlikoSwitch City Scape and although we had some sqeeking in the wheels, a bit of oil fixed the problem in seconds! So, overall a good 3 in 1 travel system.

Mamas And Papas 03 Series
I bought a mamas and papas excel when my daughter was born for off road walking.I got it 2nd hand off of ebay for 150 pounds.
It proved disastrous as u bend on chassis broke and appeared to weaken pushchair even when my husband put a new strut across the bottom.
We gave up in the end as mamas and papas would not fix it for less than a 50 pound charge and we did not have much money and felt disillusioned as had only had pushchair 5 months.
Bought the mamas and papas 03 series from ebay for 30 pounds almost a year ago.
It has been fantastic in every respect.
We went down to one car this year so I walk everywhere with my daughter who is now a toddler. We do a lot of off road walking bumping over a wet muddy fielkd by a river and along a towpath 2 or 3 times a day with the dog....
It cleans up and I push to the super market and to toddler group.
It is relativley smart when clean and looks tidy.
My advice if you want a pushchair that is very comfortable for your child very strong very sturdy and able to off road without breaking buy this pushchair.
It may not be the most fashionable or girly but it is strong.
However if you drive a hatchback or a mini and want a pushchair that will nip out and go anywhere or whizz round the shops do not buy it.
It is a large pushchair sturdy and strong as an ox it is not designed for girly shopping trips or wandering round marks and sparks.... It is an everyday hardwaring beast.
Like a vehicle to me.....
Takes my daughter my shopping the dog ties to it etc.......
best buy so far.
no problems with pump up tyres yet lew them up at the garage with car tyre pump they have been fine no probs at all.....
I bought a mamas and papas

The Mamas And Papas Pliko Pramette Is One Of The B
The Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette is one of the best pushchairs on the market. Winning a number of different awards including the Prima Pushchair of the year award for a minimum of three consecutive years this is a pram I would highly recommend. The lightweight chassis makes the pram really practical and easy to use. The quality of fabrics reflect the amount of money spent on the pram. The service and full demonstration we recieved at the Mamas and Papas store was fantastic. Cant fault the company one bit!

I Would Never Buy Another Mamas And Papas Again! T
I would never buy another Mamas and Papas again! They completley disgust me, i had the Pliko Pramette and within a month a spring came out of the wheel, then the release handel broke. Then when my 6month old son was IN the pushchair the bottom cross bar snapped which if i hadnt of grabbed him he would have hit his head! but because i brought it from an outlet Mamas and Papas simply said it was not there problem! for the amount i paid for the pushchai which was over £300 it was unsafe and unrealiable! i asked for a replacement but i was told not our problem! customer service= appaulling! pushchair=death trap! vaule for money= complete ripp off!

Out Of All The Baby Equipment That We Purchased Th
Out of all the baby equipment that we purchased this has been the worst and most regretted purchase. Within 6 weeks of use the break failed (our supplier begrudgingly changed the framework for us)12 months later the break failed again. We had to send it to M&P direct but they would not replace they would only repair, and you guessed it 12 months down the line it broke again. We got nowhere with M&P as it was "out of guarantee". We had to give up. We have used a Mclaren tecno xt pushchair since which has been our best purchace of all our baby equipment. I wish we had saved ourselves £400 and never bothered with the o3.

This Mamas And Papas Series 03 International Push
This Mamas and Papas Series 03 International pushchair is so fab to push/manouvre you wouldn't believe, it pops up and down curbs like your driving a Land Rover, its a serious off roading buggy with out lacking any luxury... it looks great, is easy to collapse and open, it lies down to the flat sleeping position. I love the fact the straps allow little ones to sit forward and nose around.
But the reason I mark this so low when I love it so so much!?!..........the chinese squeaking torture! The back left wheel squeaks so much, everyone turns to look at us. Nothing seems to stop it, I kick the wheel and I have 3 seconds squeak free, then BAM!! It squeaks again.
HI,
You can make the front wheel swivel, near the foot rest at the front of the buggy is a switch you turn this and it puts the wheels in swivel mode rather then fixed.
I have this puhchair after my little boy could no knoger ride comfortably in his silver cross 3D and I love it.
Hey when u say wheels curb like a landrover? How is this so? I have borrowed this pram off a friend for the Christmas period and as far as I can work out it only goes in a straight Line which isn't great. Can u make the front wheel swivel?

As Soon As I Saw This Pram I Knew It Was The One F
As soon as i saw this pram I knew it was the one for me. It was smart, eyecatching and above all looked adequate to complete the 6 mile walk a day i was planning to do after having my baby.
Unortunately the walks were short lived and i used the car instead, However we soon realised this was not a pram that was intended to be squeezed into the boot of a car! It was unbelievably heavy to lift and huge when folded!
I wasn't too happy with the way the baby car seat 'fixed' onto the brackets on the pram-they never seemed quite safe enough and when my daughter was old enough to sit in the pram itself the small straps inside the pram were just so inadequate.
I'm on my second daughter now and still using the same pram. Also i do go on 4-6 mile walks everyday and to be honest this is where this pram comes into its own...i have yet to see a pram i think is as good as the m&p 03 series at going over rough ground for miles and miles, its fantastic! It has never in the 5 years i have had it, had any major problems at all.
The rain canopy is a little cumbersome, it comes in 2 parts (I shove it under the pram when not in use) The first few times i put it on it felt like i was auditioning for the krypton factor! but when you get used to it, it becomes fairly easy.
The only gripe i have is because the tyres are pumped up i got puncture after puncture after puncture.........

Wouldn't Recommend This Pram. Harness Too Short Fo
Wouldn't recommend this pram. Harness too short for bigger baby. Brake failed after six months.Poor after sales service. Main hinge on chassis broke after a year. Car seat isn't great.
Mamas And Papas Are A Hideous Company To Deal With
Mamas and Papas are a hideous company to deal with....stay away! My advice is read plenty of pram reviews before you make a decision and take note of the reviews written here!

This Pram Is A Really Sturdy, Strong Pram. I Am No
This pram is a really sturdy, strong pram. I am now using mine for my second child, 4 years on from the first. I've always washed it down after each use, and kept it well oiled/WD40-ed, and it still looks and "drives" like new. We've had no problems with it, with the exception that I had a puncture once. The whole wheel had to be replaced at a cost of £25 or so, but M&Ps express delivered one to me within a few days - and that was sent out to Germany for me. All in all, a good investment.
