New Mask Rule

I was very disappointed about customer service and how rude they are.

I suffer from eschimia and to wear a musk is very dangerous and distressing for me and have even had occasions where I fainted.

I was refused to shop at Costco fron not wearing one.

I have had the covid and its nothing compared to what the mask makes me to go through I feel ill for days.

This is inhumane and against DDA law .

You should be ashamed of how you disregard human health considering that the rule you impose is supposed to be implemented to protect, and yet you fail to protect and disregard how that rule can put someone in even in a greater danger. Even if they are a minority they should have a chance to be respected for the suffering they already go through and your restrictions should not be the cause of a greater suffering and life threatening.

I was never shown any empathy, just told to leave as if I had committed a terrible crime.

I hope you never have to feel the way I do when I'm forced to wear a mask and can't even see well for days.

Signed a customer you just lost and I will be encouraging everyone I know who is a member to leave.

Costco Has Contempt For Uk Equality Laws

My wife and I recently visited the Costco warehouse in Sheffield.

I am a person who, due to impairment / disability, is exempted under government regulations from wearing a face covering in indoor settings and on public transport. However upon entering the store I was confronted by a member of staff and told that the company’s policy was that customers failing to wear a face-covering were to be refused admission to the store, regardless of the government’s clearly publicised exhortations to traders to be mindful and respectful of circumstances in which customers have approved exemption. Despite my protestations and presenting my exemption card, I was treated boorishly and humiliatingly in being escorted out of the store.

This exclusion is an act of gross discrimination against disabled people and, as well as being disrespectful of customers’ circumstances and exhibiting Costco’s ingrained and institutionalized prejudice against people of disability, is a clear breach of the Equality Act 2010.

Having been a Costco customer over many years, I am frankly disgusted by their misogynistic hatred and rudeness towards customers whose physical difficulties prevent them from complying with their perverse and unreasonable prejudice. Such a deliberate policy can only be based on a considered disregard for Article 14 of the Human Rights Act 1998, and I therefore had no alternative but to refer their actions to the Equality and Human Rights Commission and, since such mindless contempt for human convention constitutes hate crime, have duly reported the incident to South Yorkshire Police.

The Worst For Virtue Signaling

Having never taken a day off during this period of total hysteria, I've been to Cheshire Oaks, Trafford Centre, every supermarket, DIY store, etc, always using common sense and following good hygiene. Who knew that was the way to live?

Costco has set a new precedent for C19 madness. They have managed to sidestep the government's mask exemption rule by making you wear a face visor, proven to be of zero use whatsoever in scientific tests. FACT!

I'm a trade member at Costco paying over the odds to gain access 1 hour earlier before the Individual members show up. During this period of madness, I've been made to queue behind the Individuals of hundreds that they let in an hour earlier. But now they are discriminating, by making me purchase (total waste of money) and wear a face visor. This is NOT following government guidelines. I don't have to, nor don;t want to wear a face covering of any type Costco.

Best Tent Ever

I went to Costco last week and purchased a few things to go camping with. Considering everything going on into today's world, camping felt like a good idea to get away from it all. When I went to Costco I knew I would get a few things, but had no idea that I would come across the most amazing tent that I have ever seen. Thank you so much Costco for always coming through!

Rude Arrogant Staff

The staff at Costco Manchester have to be some of the rudest most arrogant people around, working for minimum wage in a warehouse they speak to customers in an off hand manner and seem incapable of please and thank you, dreadful place best avoided.

Weekly Shop

After reading some of the other reviews I am a little surprised that people find it more expensive than normal supermarkets. I find that every single zero VAT item is cheaper than the local Tescos and surprising cheaper than Aldi/Lidl. The lunch meats and cheeses are cheaper and higher quality, the chicken breast and mince is significantly better quality and a tad cheaper, fresh vegetables and fruit is about half the price on a weight-to-weight basis. Bread products are about a third of the price. Just yesterday i bought 6 loaves of sourdough bread for 1.50. They do fabulous ready meals that you bake in the oven and have a cafe which also offers cheap meals. The cakes are amazing quality and cheaper than you can get anywhere else. I guess people that go and buy things such as electronics, household goods, etc, may find it a bit more pricy but if you are there to buy groceries and other zero VAT items, it can't be beat. Watch out for the monthly deals as well, they are often very good. Do my weekly shop there and couldn't be happier with the prices.

Worst Mistake Ever

Bought a Toshiba HD 3D Television from Costco online had to send it back for replacement after one week with sound problem got sent a new one after about a month same problem was told out of stock and they would contact me when in stock for replacement in the meantime I had to disable all the automatic sound system built into the TV. Never contacted me and nearly two years later the TV goes blank (no picture) contacted Costco and was told had no record of previous problems and would get a local repairer to contact me in about 7 DAYS. not to repair TV but to make yet another appointment to call and inspect TV. So now we have no working TV and ni idea when the repair man will call so we have to wait round the phone and twiddle our thumbs. Would have thought a company of Costco's repute would have handled things a bit better than this.....
