Got a family member to take two badminton rackets in to be restrung, they asked for the exact same strings at 24lbs, for people that do this all day long this should be quite a simple instruction to follow. The shortest guy that works there took the request and gave a receipt. The day I agreed to go collect them I took the receipt my family member was given, noticing that for two rackets restringing £24.00 was really cheap. Alarm bells rang, When we rang united sports up they said that they had put bg65's in not the "TI" version and that it was kind of tough. I had the option to take the rackets and play my match and then go back and get them done to what i wanted incurring two lots of charges so about £55.00 for their mistake. I declined this rip off and told them to cut the strings out, running my own retail bussiness that is the last thing I would suggest for my own fault. Being outraged I decided to collect the rackets from their shop. Asking for my rackets back the shorter employee decided to dissappear very quickly out of the shop what left me a employee and I guess the manager. The employee tried to get me to pay twice to have the rackets done again what i declined and so he began cutting them. At that point the manager came over and complained to his employee about cutting them out that he wanted me a word before hand with me. I was told it was my mothers fault for this problem, obviously so called experts cant copy the exact string and put them in. He told me next time I came back I had to specifically ask for the string, obviously the manager thought I would be going back to the experts retail shop again and that it had cost him £25.00 for all this problem. At no point was there a sorry for the problem they had caused. At no point did the short employee who took the order come over and explain the situation, just prooving the type of people united sports are.

Finally I would just like to say before this I had used united sports and they were ok how I was treated today prooves why they are a useless company with no car for customer service even when they do things wrong. My advice would be to stay clear and go somewhere they know whats going on because the members at united sports don't. Bring back PWp who were in chigwell :(
