They Are The Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt

They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Back in July, I ordered a digital camera. it is now Nov, almost thanksgiving, and I still have yet to recieve anything.

I bought the camera elsewhere, and fotoconnection keeps telling me that they are refunding my credit card. But nothing ehas happened.

I've called every week, no results.

Save yourself the trouble and never do business elsewhere

I Used Fotoconnection To Buy A Camera For My

I used fotoconnection to buy a camera for my sister in law from england.

Supposed to get free kit w camera and be delivered in 3-5 days

I got a call 8 days after I ordered. Wanted to verify my credit card. Said they had a lot of fraud. I told them the order was already overdue, and my sister-in-law was leaving the next day.

They said they'd overnight it, and I could return if it didn't make it there in time.

Cme the next day too late, after sister in law left. Got charged for a supposed free kit with the camera.

tried to return, but got a BIG hassle, and a scloding at customer returns. Also he refused to let me talk to a manager.

stay away from these people is what i would recommend

After Placing An Order I Received An Automated Res

After placing an order I received an automated response called "order confirmation", mentioning that it will take 24-72 hours to process. I waited one day, then checked the confirmation once again and was surprised that this was not really an order confirmation. It was just confirming that I placed the order, but not that it was accepted. I discovered they require shipping address to be same as billing address. So I called them asking if they can resolve this. First I was told that they cannot accept international credit cards. When I said I am forced to order from a different company, the salesman asked me for confirming validity of the card by sending my ID, and assured me everything will be fine. Then I received a response to my support ticket, confirming I will get a tracking number in 48 hours. I did not receive it in 3 days, so I re-opened the ticket. Then they closed it again, with a 2-word response: "order cancelled". They cancelled my order without even letting me know. I called them again and after waiting 15 minutes on phone their rep told me my order was cancelled because the ordered stuff was not on stock any more. When I checked 1 minute later, all the stuff I wanted was marked as on stock on the website.I seriously warn anyone against ordering anything from this company. Besides the fact that they apparently offer 5 year old models of lenses without seemingly mentioning that they are not the most recent models, processing orders and communication with customers is at a level I definitely would not want to experience again.

I placed an order with Foto Connection a month ago, but I have as yet not received anything. I tried to cancel the order, but the money left my account anyway!

My Girlfriend Ordered A $154 Sony Camera. She Rece

My girlfriend ordered a $154 Sony camera. She received an email stating that we needed to call back. That's when the "customer service" rep, proceeded to upsell her on a battery and a variety of other stuff. When she just told them to cancel, he threatened her with other charges (a 15% restocking fee even though the order was JUST placed. The restocking fee is discussed on the website in terms of returns, NOT canceled orders.) They also proceeded to "sweeten" the deal by adding a warranty and a camera cleaning case, even though none of it was asked for nor wanted (classic sleazy sales practice.)At this point, my girlfriend was very upset at the rep and asked for a manager. He transferred her around and around and then answered the phone himself as "the manager." She called him on it and said, "You're not the manager." He answered, "Today I am.""Then why didn't you just say that at the beginning?" This was going on for 10 minutes as I sat beside her. She was in near tears at being treated so badly.Eventually my GF relented and bought the $154 camera for $244. I told her not to do it and not to let them get away with this, but she was in tears from being bullied by them. Nope, *I* won't let them get away with this HORRIBLE behavior. STAY AWAY, Consumer. Stay FAR away. I wish my GF would've told me what she was doing before I walked in on her being upset, but the camera was my Xmas gift. Otherwise, I would've told her to read the numerous negative reviews of this sleazy retailer.

Would Not Take Merchandise Back As Said They Would

Would not take merchandise back as said they would, lied about memory cards needed for two separate cameras, would not send an itemized invoice as they said they would, were rude and nasty when I called customer service even to the point of threatening me with taking away warranties. A horrible experience.
