I Have Used The Tea Tree Oil And Witch Hazel Facia
I have used the Tea Tree Oil and Witch Hazel facial wash for the last couple of years and have always been happy with it. I have previously used the moisturiser as well without a problem. However, I bought one last week and have had the same reaction as one other reviewer - my face has dried out, the area around my eyes and mouth is red and sore, and it feels like I've been burnt and it is very itchy. Am now using aqueous cream to try to combat the effects, but it's now 3 days and no better!
am using d facial foam and night gel for 4 months now,its great..how ever, i bought the day moisturizer last week and been using it for a week now. today, my skin at d sides of my lips and below my nostril, start to flake. It makes my skin dry.
i had the same problem did you inform boots? i did and was told it was a dodgy batch !!

I Was Looking For A Reasonably Priced, Light Moist
I was looking for a reasonably priced, light moisturiser and decided to opt for one from a range I already liked...
The first use was great; but after three days the skin around my nose and mouth is dry, taught, red and sore. After taking my make up off today my skin is flaking, after lightly exfoliating away some of my peeling skin it's still incredibly painful to apply my usually fantastic thick moisturiser.
I have "normal" and only slightly sensitive skin, and have had no trouble using tea tree and witch hazel based products before, but it feels like my skin has been chemically burnt!
So, Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Shine Control Moisturiser, I give you half a star for being cheap, and another half because my skin definitely isn't shiny when it's dry and flakey...
I found this review very helpful because...i had the same problem and complained to boots as i had to go to the doctors as skin was so bad !

Tea Tree And Witch Hazel Day Moisturiser - I Have
Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Day Moisturiser - I have been trying to find a new moisturizer for ages now, and I have been unhappy with just about everything I have tried. For some reason, despite having had good skin all throughout my teenage years, I have suddenly found that this no longer applies.
In any case, as I was browsing in Boots recently I came across their Tea Tree and Witch Hazel range which includes, along with the day moisturiser a nightime moisturiser and a cleanser as well as a cream for spots. Not being sure if it would be any good I bought the cleanser and the day moisturiser. And boy was I pleasantly surpised! Within two days my face felt softer and smoother and after two more, the problem areas (greasy/dry) feel a lot better as well.
The only real problem I have found is that this moisturiser does have a slightly medicinal smell, but that does fade fairly quickly.
While I haven't been using these products long enough to say whether they're a miracle cure, I can say it is the first time in a while I've used a moisturiser and not been left feeling like my face was greasy in a long time. This is enough of a result for me to certainly finish the tube, and if the results stay as they are, to not only buy another, but to try the nighttime version as well.
Well done Boots!
