I Have Tried Many Foundations From The Well Known
I have tried many foundations from the well known brands to the not so well known. From the cheapest to the dearest. I decided to try this purely from testing the shades and with it not being anything like the dearest decided it was worth a try. I am now on my third bottle. You can build up the colour a little more were required. I do have mild dry skin and so I do moisturise beforehand and so colour lasts all day.
I will continue to buy as wearing this foundation I have had staff from the Dior counter comment on my skin!

It Had A Nice Bottle. The Foundation Didn't Stay O
It had a nice bottle. The foundation didn't stay on. It was sloppy and turned my face greasy in the summer. I bought Ruby & Millie Base Formula once and I will never buy it again.

On The Whole I Think Ruby And Millie's Liquid Base
On the whole I think Ruby and Millie's Liquid Base is a great foundation. I have tried just about every foundation on the market, and I would say that this one is right up there with some of the top-of-the-range, higher priced brands. It gives great coverage, yet still stays sheer and luminous on the skin. The idea is that you can build it up in 'layers' where you need it most, but I think the coverage is so good you only need to use a very small amount. It lasts all day too, which is really unusual for such a sheer finish - typically I have found the foundations on the market that claim to last all day are really far too heavy and 'cakey' on my skin. This one is so light in texture that I can hardly feel it all. However, on the downside, the plastic spatula-type applicator that is built in to the lid tends to drip everywhere, which I find annoying. Also, it took me ages to find the right colour, as I think the product darkens slightly as it 'settles' on the skin. 05 looked fine on my skin to begin with, but a few minutes later I realised that it was too dark, whereas 04 looked as if it was too pale when I first applied it, but in fact it is perfect. I was also slightly put-off by the lack of "blurb" on the packaging - normally with foundations you get a box and a leaflet extolling the virtues of that particular product and telling you all about its light reflectors and its AHA's etc., etc. With this product there is nothing other than a small sticker on the bottom of the bottle confirming its SPF 15, and no box. I almost didn't buy it because I assumed that if it didn't have any accompanying 'blurb' it couldn't be any good. I couldn't have been more mistaken, and the minimal (yet funky!) packaging obviously keeps the price down. I recommend this foundation, and will definitely buy it again.
