At a time when I was dealing with my mothers death and all the funeral arrangements plus my fathers dementia, they dealt with my case pretty well and only a couple of weeks longer than they said it would take.

Having to help my father with my brothers estate it was far easier for Chorus Law to deal with. Our account manager was excellent, kept up to date regularly,instant replies if any queeries and understanding of fathers age and frailty.Approx 6 months to complete as stated.

First experience of the proceedures required following a death so was relieved to find Father had left instruction for his bank to assist. This was my introduction to Chorus Law who were to provide an understanding, professional service that I would recommend. Reminded me of selling a property through an estate agent - does come at a cost, but a hastle free, polished service. Thank you Chorus Law.

My probate case was straight forward generally and I could have dealt with it myself. However not having to deal with banks, pensions providers, inland revenue etc and produce accounts, made the whole process stress free at a difficult time.The case manager was sensitive and efficient and kept me updated throughout the whole process.If I had any queries I was able to contact him by telephone. Although the cost worked out at about 1·5% of the total estate, for me it was worthwhile.

I was put in touch with Chorus Law by Barclays when my partner passed away in January. The initial visit from the Chorus Law rep. was arranged quickly and I felt confident enough to allow them to deal with my partner's estate. It was all handled very well and efficiently by my case manager who conducted the procedure from beginning to end. I was particularly impressed by the online dash board and the regular case updates via the site or by telephone. I would recommend Chorus Law to anyone.

Died in January, you completed probate in October? That's pretty good for
Chorus "Law". Probate Office staff are helpful if you do it yourself. Takes less than a month and the cost should be £215 for an average estate.
I just sent this to RipOff Britain, BBC TV.You may wish to take a look at the service provided by, despite the name not a legal outfit, "Chorus Law".
When her husband died, aged 85 last October Barclays Bank advised using the services of their bereavment counsellors Chorus Law.
There was a simple will. The house, a three bed semi in Wallasey owned outright as tenants in common, no vast wealth.
A few thousand pounds in current and savings accounts. Some personal jewellery.
Was informed that it would be sorted in a few weeks at a cost of £1,800.
The next thing was a visit from an estate agent who had been commissioned to value the house and take photographs.
When he was informed that it was not for sale he realised that he had been duped and his instructions by Chorus Law were worded to avoid them paying him a fee.
A public notice in the local newspaper was drawn to friend's attention where there was a notice referring to the estate of her late husband. I suspected what Chorus Law were up to (pushing up costs even more) and had a look at the
London Gazette were there was a similar notice.
Months later when she asked what was causing the delay she was informed that Probate was a difficult and long drawn out process, requiring legal expertise which could take a very long time.
Chorus Law then stated that the estimated cost would be £2,400.
It is now twelve months since the funeral and no further forward.
Chorus Law masquerades under several names. You never speak to the same person twice. The person dealing with your case 'has left, on holiday, is ill'. Check out the complaints on the web.
When you sign up with Chorus Law through Barclays you agree that they will be top of the list of creditors to be paid before anyone else.
This countermands the instructions in most wills.

initially recommended via Barclays Bank-related advisor to handle late mother's estate - process went smoothly and as described at the outset - communication and correspondence was timely and satisfactory throughout and, although completion took a little longer than initially anticipated, the end point was concluded without problems. all staff were polite, friendly, accessible and helpful throughout

At the stressful time of bereavement and the aftermath Chorus Law were just what we needed. The original salesman explained things clearly including the costs involved. The time scale estimate of 6 months was out by a few months but I have no reason to blame Chorus law for these delays. After reading some of the negative reviews I did go through a patch where I wondered if I'd made the right decision, but I worried needlessly, as throughout Chorus Law maintained contact and my case manager was superb.

Chorus Law took the stress, time and faff out of sorting out probate as I didn't have the time to do all the admin myself. My probate case manager was great and was always prompt at coming back on any questions I had and always kept me in the loop as to what was happening. The only reason I didn't give the rating 5 stars is that the process did take a lot, lot longer than I was initially told.

We said'yes' to recommending a friend, on the reflection of the initial service afforded to us. We were kept up to date,informed by telephone and letter regarding the probate. In addition the case manager was communicative an helpful. Moreover The Chorus Law Simplify tracker is very useful. A good form of support. On the other hand, what we did not find helpful was the change of case manager after 11 months, we had been communicating with them for some time. We were not informed of the change over and the introduction of a new case manager. We would highly recommend keeping the client informed of such changes. Just a simple notification out of courtesy of a new person ( case manager) is more professional. I wish Chorus Law,a good future.

I have just read some of the reviews and to be honest was very surprised. I am very happy with service, my case worker was extremely helpful and kept me fully informed. All my phone calls were responded to promptly. I particularly liked being able to go on line and keep up to date with the progress of my late husbands estate. I would not hesitate to recommend them

Having lost both my parents within 6months of each other, I had no idea of how to go about sorting out their estates, but I thought how difficult can it be! I started going about the business of contacting banks, building societies etc., and found it was such a big complicated task, that I needed some professional help. Barclays did recommend Simplify and I was contacted by an agent. At no time was I under any pressure to use them. The agent explained everything to myself and my husband, there was no hidden agenda, everything was up front. I was also very lucky to have had a superb case manager, who was there for me at all times. Any questions I had were answered efficiently and knowledgeably and at all times my case manager was caring and polite. My case did take about 18 months, but that was only because both estates had to go through the legal procedure. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service they provided.

When my Father's estate went to probate, we, the family, did not know what to expect. Chorus Law dealt with everything efficiently and quickly. I found the staff to be respectful and friendly. As the administrator for the family, I found their website kept me up to date and if I had a query, I just left a message and it was responded to within a day by my Case Worker. I happily recommend this company

My late Mum "died Intestate" and I felt it would be best to use Probate Specialist to deal with the complexities of Probate especially as there was no Will. Chorus Law were recommended by Barclays Bank and I have been very happy with there Service. My Case Manager was professional, friendly and very helpful. She guided me through each Stage of Probate and any queries I sent her on the interactive website were answered promptly and everything was explained to me in a way that I could understand. Chorus Law took the stress and worry out of my hands and dealt with everything. All Documents were returned to me safely by Registered Post. I would like to say a big Thank you to my Case Manager for her hard work and for going through all details patiently.

I was told that I could possibly have dealt with his estate myself but, having been told what it entailed, I was completely overwhelmed and knew that I would need help. I opted to deal with Chorus Law as advised by the bank. They dealt with everything from the start--I only had to provide the documentation and details of his finances, death certificate and will. I was allocated my own case manager who kept me informed by telephone of the progress and of any queries. I was also encouraged to call if I had any concerns. I felt at all times that someone was working on my behalf and appreciated this help at a very difficult time. Thank you Chorus Law!

I found that the case manager was very good and that everything went very well to the plan that was outlined, having very few problems it was dealt with very effectively from start to finish.

I would not have been able to conduct probate for my late wife on my own, as I would not have known where to start. My only downside was the time it took for probate to given.

Case Manager Sabah Babar was allocated. I found her very helpful, especially with the amount of evidence that needed to be submitted and the completion of paperwork in respect of my late mother. She answered all of my questions clearly in a manner that I could understand and kept me informed of the progress. Also was very supportive and understanding during a very emotional time. I’m very happy with the service received and found all staff helpful, efficient and polite. I thought the set fees for services were reasonable and easier to understand in comparison with solicitor’s fees.

Using Choris Law to carry out Probate on my late wife's estate was made easy and hassle free. We were kept well informed at all times with all subjects delt with professionally and in the correct manor,. All paper work was completed in good time with no hold ups in proceedings.
