The Big Film With The Little Guy Is Back And He Co
The big film with the little guy is back and he comes skating back on to the big screen for his second performance, but this little guy is no ordinary guy he's cuddly and white and about five inches tall, he's Stuart Little!
This pint-sized big hearted little guy (voiced by Michael J Fox) and his Little family Mrs Little (Geena Davis) Mr Little (Hugh Laurie) and his brother George (Jonathan Lipnicki) return for another dose! This time there is an additional little member a seven month old baby girl.
This time Stuart finds a friend Margalo (voiced by Melanie Griffith) a bird who happens to fall from a cloud with a silver lining with a supposed broken wing ruse only it's a ruse to steal for the falcon (voiced by James Woods).
But she is warmly welcomed into the Little household and a 'cutie friendship' develops between the mouse and the bird! And when mum's prized ring goes missing and so does Margalo. Stuart believes that the Falcon has got her! Trouble is Margalo is the falcon's prot g and they're in it together. But will friendship change her and defy the falcon, after all the falcon first took her under his wing!
So ensues a fun-side splitting adventure when Stuart ropes in reluctant Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane) the somewhat unfearless white pussy with the attitude! to rescue his new-found friend from the falcon. After all Stuart muses 'When you're a friend of Stuart Little, you're a friend for life'
You will marvel at the cleverness and ingenuity of a mouse intent on a brand new adventure and a storyline that fits as perfect as a jigsaw with all the bits coming together with fine finesse.
Laugh at Stuart Little playing footie, taking flying lessons and he's pretty mean with a skateboard too!
Personally, as sequels go, this is as good as the first one! The animation is amazing although I enjoyed the antics of Snowbell who took a slighter lesser role in this film. Nevertheless I could easily watch it again and if I look into my crystal balls I can definitely see a third adventure on the horizon! However I'd have preferred to watch it on the big silver screen, like the first film which was a novelty! Animation has gone from strength to strength and it's quite remarkable what they can achieve! So here's to Stuart Little 2, certainly not little by name!
Film duration: 74 mins
