IBM Thinkpad Edge 15

This is by far the most rugged machine I have ever owned. I don't take it on week long expeditions or anything but It does bounce around my house and from my house to the office. I don't mind if it gets scratched (I learnt not to be too girly with this kinda thing when I dropped a brand new iPhone 4S 32g about 12 hours after buying it. It bounced but got a bit of a scratch on the side; Babies in Africa and all that though so I just laughed it off and the phone is still fine)

The battery is amazing on this machine. IBM have a suite of power options etc. that seem to eek another 30-40% out of the machine over say a Packard Bell or Advent that would have cost me about the same (£320.00 inc delivery) I use this everyday for everything from work to watching Netflix so it gets 8-9 hours of daily use.

I dumped 64 bit W7 in favor of 32 and find using Chrome it browses at tremendous speed. I wouldn't want to play a game on it (but I don't play PC games anyway) but for simple go anywhere do anything computing it is awesome.

I love my ThinkPad, I'm so pleased I went this route instead of buying a Sony or an Apple. I can see me using this one until the screen falls off.
