we purchased an off the shelf Oakmont kitchen in Sept 2017. Firstly we had issues with the delivery, where half of the order did not show up. When we contacted the customer service helpline they were very unhelpful and said it would turn up but could not give any dates or times or explanation. We eventually received the rest of the order after having to travel to various stores to find the missing items.
After 1 year we have notice the veneer on the sink cupboard and 4 drawers which are on the opposite side of the kitchen are lifting. We have spent 2 weeks trying to raise a complaint. The customer services are appalling- they have told us we cannot have replacements as the cupboards must not get wet? I asked what they meant by this- apparently you are not even supposed to wipe the worksurface down as they are not mean for this type of work. I asked the complaint to be escalated after another few day of me chasing apparently the suppliers are now saying it is due to the moisture in the air of the kitchen. I have asked for where this disclaimer is put in the product information but to date they have refused to answer any e-mail or phone call. Cannot believe the laughable excuses they give.
