we had our kitchen fitted by wickes and within 4 months the cupboard doors began to warp badly and started to look a right mess, a call was made to their customer service to report the problem and the immediate response we got back was defensive, it was due to humidity or water ingress, which was news to us as we have never had a problem with humidity or warped kitchen doors with any of our two previous kitchen installations, after some discussion we were asked to send photo's so they would forward them to the manufacturer and await their reply, we waited months and made endless calls to check the progress of the complaint and every time we were told they were still waiting for the makers decision and promised someone would call us back but they never ever do, they just hope you will go away, after five months of delay and being ignored we gave up and complained to the furniture ombudsman who ruled in our favour, wickes finally caved and agreed to replace the doors as an act of goodwill but they still refuse to accept their product is at fault this is despite them never sending anyone to personally inspect them. I would not recommend a kitchen from wickes, their after sales service is appalling.
