I had a new kitchen and bathroom designed and installed by NJKI. Expected full project management and excellent work and products. Spending nearly £20,000...how wrong was I to trust them. Terrible workmanship, filter dismissed after complaining to me constantly about the company and produced terrible workmanship in both rooms. No respect for my possessions or protection given despite asking constantly or apologies. Tiling over first attempt of bad tiling. The list of mistakes are too many to write but mistakes made in every single area, including ordering incorrect fittings and built in electrical products. The company gave excuses every time when asked when the work would be finished correctly, moanng we only have 1 remedial fitter to do all of our customers jobs. Took 6 mths to finish work and tried to bill me for the remedial work/their mistakes. Joke. Then sometime after left a plant on my doorstep, with a compliment note, no message and addressed to Mrs...I am not married! Frankly found this rude, as if a plant would make things better. Since then constant inspection of their work shows how shoddy it is and I nearly got seriously injured when the bathroom cabinet heavy mirrored door fell of the hinge for no reason. Another workman has identified not secured correctly with sufficient amount of hinges for the weight of door. This cabinet had to built twice due to incorrect design first time. Avoid this company.

Just read on Facebook that someone ordered their kitchen a couple of weeks ago then found out last Friday that the Company had gone into liquidation. Can anyone confirm this.

I see NJK Interiors - previously Not Just Kitchen Ideas - has (as of 10 October 2017) gone into Administration. Does it surprise me, not at all. The business has gone from being a well run family business into a fragmented service provider. Many of its contractors, such as Bedford Kitchens (fitter), are very good / competent, and NJKI's design service is also very good too. NJKI's customer service, however, is pathetic and a number of its staff representatives are cocky / overconfident. It's hardly surprisingly, therefore, that with reported mounting debts and a number of unsatisfied customers, that the company's plight was only going in one direction. Down.

We moved our kitchen from a north facing to a south facing room. It has transformed our house. We used the builders recommended by NJKI to prepare the room and make good the room where the kitchen was and they were fantastic dealing with all little hiccups without drama. NJKI's fitter was also very competent and pleasant to deal with and has done a lovely job. If I had a negative comment it would be that I felt as if my business was not important to NJKI but because I had been recommended them I persisted. I love the end result.

We received an excellent refit. We arrived at the showroom at 4.50pm, 10 minutes before closing time, but were made to feel welcome, not rushed, and the lady was really helpful. The planner suggested relocating the hand basin, making the bathroom feel bigger. The staff at the showroom were very patient while we agonised over the choices of tiles and floor covering. The fitter worked tidily and left no mess each day. He explained the problems when they became apparent and talked through our options for resolving them. The only down side was the wait before an appropriately -skilled fitter was available. We are really pleased with our new bathroom.

After six years a hinge on one of the cupboards was bust and needed replacing . We thought this was a quality product and six years is not very long in the life of the kitchen used by two people . We were quoted a callout charge of £120. Quite outrageous . The staff were unhelpful and unable to supply us with a name of somebody else locally who could fix this for us .

Designer really listened to what we wanted and made lots of adjustments until we were completely happy. Her attention to detail and perseverance in following through even the smallest of enquiries gave us complete confidence. Work carried out professionally and courteously by the excellent builders and fitters as recommended. We are more than happy with the finished kitchen.

Really happy with my new kitchen. A few minor issues occurred but these were dealt with promptly. Customer services communicated with me on a regular basis keeping me informed of each step of the process. I imagined there would be so much dust everywhere but I was wrong! The tiler and kitchen fitter were fantastic - punctual at all times and had the greatest respect for my home in terms of tidiness, minimal dust,and disruption. I have already recommended Kitchen Ideas to my neighbour who has watched my kitchen progress and I would definitely use Kitchen Ideas again in the future.

Everything was carried out to a high standard. The quality of the product was extremely high.

We had our kitchen completely redone by NJKI and are very happy with the results. We commissioned their recommended builder to take out the old kitchen and prepare the room for the new kitchen. There were a few hiccups with this part, not knowing who was responsible for what. Communication from NJKI was good and I knew that any issues would be resolved promptly, but some information fell through the gaps and we weren't always kept in the loop. I'm really happy with the design of the kitchen, and the consultant took all of our requests into account. It was also very good value for money when considered against other quotes that we received. The fit of the kitchen itself was excellent, and there was great attention to detail from the fitter. The materials themselves are high-quality and I'm particularly pleased with the solid-wood worktops. Overall a positive experience, and I'd recommend them.

The end products are what really count and I'm very pleased with each room as they are good to look at, and practical to work in. In each case the finish is excellent and has been admired by many. The whole process from visiting the showroom, design and installation went smoothly, with only a few issues arising over the site surveys due to changes in personnel, but these were soon resolved. The team were very helpful as some changes were made, generally through kitchen appliances becoming unavailable, the difficulty of finding the product best suited to my needs and selecting different kitchen tiles when those initially chosen were out of stock. These changes have, I believe, only enhanced the finished result. My one 'very' small quibble would be regarding the ordering of products - that the order is checked more thoroughly with the goods being delivered only when the entire order is complete. But overall - I am a most happy customer!

I chose NJKI because they could do my en-suite bathroom and adjoining bedroom together, and match the furniture in both rooms. The result is very pleasing. The fitters worked hard, and were very accommodating. A few things which were not quite right were corrected after a request without a quibble. Excellent administration and customer service, and good workmanship.

Really pleased with our new downstairs cloakroom ( WC and basin ) which also has to double as a laundry room. The design produced was just what was needed and the appliances now look as if they actually belong in the room! The fitters were excellent and the quality of work very high. Good communication prior to, during and after installation from NJKI with all rubbishy promptly removed and everything left tidy. The two things that stop me giving 5 stars is that on 3 occasions some of the items we had chosen turned out to not be available after all, including our 2nd tile choice just before installation which meant re- thinking under pressure. Additionally, although our designer, surveyor and fitters were helpful and friendly our experience of the " front of house" staff at both showrooms was very mixed which is a shame. Would certainly use the company again.

I've used NJKI twice before, for a kitchen and a shower room, so they were an obvious choice for the family bathroom, especially as I needed to move a doorway and I knew they would be able to handle the whole job. I had some ideas of my own and the designer added to these to produce a really stylish design, and the finished result is just what I'd hoped. I love it! Everyone I dealt with, including the fitters was professional, helpful and keen to do a good job, and I particularly appreciated the way the other person I dealt with kept in touch to make sure everything was going smoothly.

We purchased a Schuller kitchen from Kitchen Ideas together with mainly Neff appliances and we are delighted with the Kitchen. They were extremely helpful to us from the initial planning stages, giving good advice on kitchen units and appliances, through to delivery. We recently had a problem with our Neff steam oven and Kitchen Ideas contacted Neff and arranged for us to have the steam oven replaced. Kitchen Ideas own fitters delivered the machine and fitted it without fuss. We are grateful to Kitchen Ideas for resolving this matter and have always found them helpful and professional. We would definitely use them again.

Not just kitchen ideas have just finished installing our new kitchen. From the consultation & design to the installation process everything has been effortless and we are very happy with our finished kitchen. They have managed to accommodate all our wishes despite our cottages slightly odd design. Robbie, the kitchen fitter was excellent.

Our existing bathroom was over 30 years old, we'd redecorated and made some minor changes but the original carpet (?!) was still there and it was in a serious need of an upgrade. We obtained prices from two suppliers and NJKI were by far the most impressive. The work was done in the timescale given and apart from a return visit for a few snags we're delighted with the finished article. No more carpet just shiny tiles.

After 17 years we have redone our Kitchen knocking down a wall between kitchen and Breakfast Room'We have had German White Shiny no handles kitchen cupboards fitted.We have moved our American Fridge Freezer to the Back Wall in between White Cupboards on either side.One cupboard is a Larder Cupboard which is fantastic to have all your dried food in one area!The old American Freezer blocked a door so it is so lovely to have th e door free!We have Corian Worktops which are Fab & even extends on to the worktop & into the Sink & Draining Board,We have had coloured glass on one side and lights in the kickboard & under the cupboards!Also we have had coloured lights on top of the cupboards.The Floor is by Kardeen and looks wonderful!The entire kitchen has gone on for 8 and half weeks which has been a long time but the end reasult is worth it!I would recommend Kitchen Ideas as the Head Man was brilliant!
