The staff at Melton Mowbray couldn't have been more helpful from the moment we entered the store to the culmination of our kitchen project. We were able to have a kitchen designed at our local Magnet store, yet delivered to an address in County Durham. We had an initial meeting with the designer, who took the measurements from us along with our wish list. Within just a couple of days, he produced a design for us to discuss. We made several changes, both in the store and over the phone. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We opted to fit the kitchen ourselves in order to keep the cost within our budget. The instructions were not the easiest to follow but the staff in Melton were at the end of the phone to help us with any query or difficulty we had. They were so knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery was on time although unfortunately one item had been left off by mistake. The drivers were very apologetic and even called the local store to see if there was one in their stock. Had there been they were prepared to go and collect it for us. As it was there wasn't one available so the missing item was couriered over to us the next morning. Due to an anomaly with our kitchen floor, one of the standard end panels was not quite long enough. However, a call to Melton soon had it sorted. We were able return it, have a longer one sent to Sunderland and now our kitchen is complete - and we are delighted with it.
