Hotpoint WMA50

We bought are Aquarius 12 yrs ago and has been used 4/5 a week sometimes 3 times a day with are four children we have been so pleased with are machine and has just gone wrong for the first time ever pulley has gone on the motor so my next purchase will be the same or equivalent model of hotpoint the only down side was the noise it makes over the last couple of years but still very happy with this appliance

Excellent value for money. Would buy another Hotpoint.

We bought our Hotpoint WMA50 2 1/2 years ago when we bought our first house, having made the decision to get a washing machine rather than a washer-dryer. We particularly wanted an energy efficient machine with a handwash function and a reasonable-sized drum so that we could do a whole load of linen at a time that would match the rest of our kitchen appliances stylistically.

On the whole we've been happy with the machine. We do 4-5 loads in it during a busy week and it's held up very well. It is easy to operate, cleans our clothes well, is not horribly loud during the spin cycle and hasn't required any maintenance. Plus it looks nice. It does, however, take a long time to run through a regular cycle, although there is a time-saver function. I'd happily buy another Hotpoint machine.
