Blackpool, The Residence Hotel

Wasted a journey from north wales , we refused the filthy room, by all means book a room here but you have been warned, still got charged 48 pound for room ww didn't stop in and wasted 30 pound fuel, look at the pics on trip advisor, its horrendous

Anyone going to Blackpool should stay at the Residence Hotel. It is near the town centre which is great if you enjoy the night life and the Tower, the Winter Gardens and shops and restaurants. There is free parking and you are allowed to smoke in all of the rooms so I felt at home right away. All the rooms are en-suite too with TVs and facilities to make tea and coffee, not necessary for me however because the bar is open late. The full English breakfast is great and they cater for special diets. When we arrived we got privilege passes for lots of clubs and bars, a restaurant and a taxi company. It is run by a family who are really welcoming and friendly some people take their pets so they really make guests feel at home there. Unfortunately we went too early for the Blackpool Illuminations which are on in September/October but we hope to go back again and stay with Mike and the great staff again soon. Great value for money.
