Hardcore Superstar's Second Offical Album Release
Hardcore Superstar's second offical album release came in 2001 with "Thank You (For Letting Us Be Ourselves)". The CD sported a true homage to the 80's rock 'n' roll, with a cover photo of themselves posing in a classic L.A. rock image. The tracks on the album are generally a little lighter than those that appeared on "Bad Sneakers And A Pina Colada". The whole sound to the album is a lot cleaner, losing the grittyness that made the first album. This is a shame in itself, but it doesn't take too much away from the album. The tracks are all still corkers!
The track listing is as follows:
1. That's My Life
2. Not Dancing, Wanna Know Why?
3. Shame
4. Just Another Score
5. Summer Season's Gone
6. Wimpy Sister
7. Do Me That Favour
8. Significant Other
9. Dear Old Fame
10. Smoke 'em
11. Riding With The King
12. They Are Not Even A New Bang Tango
13. Mother's Love
The album is another winner from these Swedish rockers. I would recommend their debut album "Bad Sneakers And A Pina Colada" as an introduction if you haven't already heard them. Enjoy!
