The Duke at Hilmarton in Wilts. Lovely staff, excellent food and always very welcoming. I frequently take my elderly, somewhat confused mother and large fluffy poodle to lunch at this pub. The proprietors are unfailingly welcoming, understanding and also provide dog biscuits on the house!

The food is consistently good and value for money.
