Me and my husband spent a weekend (18th to 21st March) in Blackpool staying at Barcelo Imperial Hotel. We were taking advantage of a complimentary upgrade as the last time we stayed there about 2 years ago, the room we were allocated was small, dreary and dirty. We thought we would give it another try and we weren't disappointed. We had a seaview room which was very spacious, lovely bathroom and the bed was really comfortable. The room was also very clean.

Breakfast time was very relaxed and the meal was lovely on all three occasions. We hadn't really planned our first day so booking a time to eat the first night was a bit difficult but we wished we had eaten at the hotel because on the first night a three course meal is £20 per couple. Next time we come we'll plan it better.

The staff were lovely, they all work well as a team. On the whole, a beautiful hotel, great leisure facilities and when we return to Blackpool we will not hesitate to come back to the Imperial.
