Home Learning at its Best!!

I took early retirement from my role as a Headteacher. I soon missed learning and paperwork, believe it or not. I have always been interested in antiques and collectables. I wanted a course that I could study at home without being under pressure to complete tasks by a tight deadline.This course "Understanding Antiques " is ideal for me as I do not have lots of spare time to study as I also care for my adult autistic son. I am able to study as and when I can. I am also pleased that I will receive recognition at the end of the course too. The assignments are question based, are relevant and provide an element of challenge.. I like the fact that I can back up my answers with additional research, which is recognised, and I look forward to feedback from my assigned tutor. I also have the opportunity to speak to my tutor on the phone should I need support. I also like the way the course material is organised because I am able to remove the relevant lesson and take it with me whereever I go, without carrying lots of books and paperwork. I am thoroughly enjoying the course, which I am doing for pleasure. I believe it is good value for money. The only thing that I don't like is that my work is marked in red - which reminds me of times gone by! And can no longer be used in Primary schools.. It's a fab way to study and learn.
