The course was flexible and I found it easy to fit studying in alongside working. I found that my work was marked and returned promptly with constructive comments.

It did take a little while to get used to the numbering system in the workbook and how it related to the individual questions. I was also unsure if I was writing too much but once the work was marked this was all clarified.

I enjoyed the Microteach session and thought it was an effective way to demonstrate what I had learned so far.

Overall I would recommend the course to anyone who wants a flexible way to study and achieve a qualification. I also think the course was good value for money compared to other online courses that were available.

1. Site should be re-designed or layout should be altered for clarity - assignment order and ridiculous assignment jargon wholly inconsistent throughout the nightmare site.

2. Allows for absolutely no real world application - overly-prescriptive with definitions instead of considering real-world applications - answering assignments with sound knowledge and practical use in a variety of industries is irrelevant here, paraphrasing the incredibly repetitive course book is all that is allowed.

3. Incredibly slow in communication and marking answers. At least a week in between any communication, so if you expect a timely response to clarify issues that demand clarification (for example...almost everything on their course) then you are going to be frustrated.

4. I would only recommend as a desperate need and not a want. If you want to learn some skills, go elsewhere. If you need a piece of paper to get a job or a promotion, then also look elsewhere. For a cheaper alternative, where you have lots of time to spend, then yes, you can get your paper, but please enter with low expectations.

Well structured value for money course with good training material and excellent support and feedback from the tutor.

The course is well structured with suitable resources, set out in easy to follow sections. The support offered is second to none, assignments are marked promptly and constructive feedback given. Admin support was also excellent, all in all a first class service!
