We were tricked by SSH fire and security, cost our whole savings some £7,500.00. And now we have lost it! We are old age pensioners, its totally unfair what they have done.. The the owner of the company should be locked away!

“Gone into liquidation”

This company has definitely ceased trading. I was contacted by Rancom Security, who say they have taken over the client list from SSH. They told me that the system I have from SSH is out of date and has been insufficiently maintained - also it does not have Police certification, which means that if the intruder alarm goes off the police will not respond. The carbon monoxide alarm failed last September and SSH were unable to provide a replacement. All in all I am very unhappy with the situation and am having to pay out to get a replacement system from Rancom. At least they have credited me with the remaining time on my SSH monitoring contract.

Since buying the SShFie and security ltd system 18 months ago it was ok up until now as we did not have a problem but today a problem has arose4 and we are unable to get any reply from any of the listed phone numbers and it has been suggested on a couple of reviews that the company has gone into liquidation although I am unable find out so far.

They now call themselves Storm Security Systems.
We paid up for 10 Years and have only had the system for 13 Months I expect rancom will be taking over and honour all the existing contracts.

I have just had letter from them, they have now been taken over Rancom Security.

“Ceased Trading”

I have today spent hours on the phone trying to trace SSH/Storm Security, to no avail. An ex-contractor has sent out a letter to take over our contract, however, he wants £850 to cover the next 3 years!!! Fortunately, the current alarm monitoring service is up-to-date with their payments and as soon as this changes, they have a Duty of Care to continue to provide their service, should the payments fail in the near future. The next step will be to engage another contract/service provider to maintain/service the equipment and to establish a new monitoring contract. With a 90 year old parent, living independently, this service provision is essential peace of mind for the entire family.

Me too. I keep getting alarm calls from the monitoring team when there are only my chocolate labrador and three cats in the house.If you manage to contact SSH that will call you back but never do.So wish I hadn't bought their system as there seems to be no follow up system and the police have now taken me off their list as SSH due to unforseen circumstances.

This company are very professional and have a great wireless monitored Alarm system, with 24hr response and key-holder and Medical Emergency. They are NSI approved, Fair trade and Trust Mark Approved and support and sponsors of Victim Support.

Why can the staff not reply to emails or phone calls? I have sent two emails and one letter and made a couple of phone calls since October 2015, the latest phone calls on Monday & Wednesday this week. I am trying to find out if the company is NPCC compliant, as Thames Valley Police will delete me from their response records today?

We had our alarm fitted in February this year, we are very pleased with it. The only problem we have is we have no instructions on how to reset etc. We had a power cut last week and I had to phone the engineer at 11 pm to get it reset. The message light has been flashing since then (4 days now). Does anyone know where I can get the instructions?
