I wanted to upgrade my burglar alarm system that has been in my home since I moved in. I needed a hybrid system that would enable me to connect the old PIR's and add some new ones as well as some new window break-in detectors. All of the companies below were quick to respond and apart from one were able to survey with very short notice. All of the people that surveyed (and gave advise were very good with the exception of Eurolink who I believe misled me). The one company that did not quote was the company that I really wanted to use but I never received a quote back despite my chasing. Not all of the systems below were the same (although most were) and the system I picked could have been changed to the more expensive system for an extra £240. After reviewing the different systems they all had the same standards and capabilities so I choose the best value. I would recommend getting several quotes as you can see below the price I agreed on was more than 50% of two of the company.
