I am not one to write a review normally,but in this case the service I received from start to finish was top class. I am insured with Saga,when I contacted them with a carpet claim,I was soon contacted by SBS with what would happen.They arranged for a technician to come out and see the carpet.The claim was verified and in no time at all I was offered options of a cash settlement or to replace the carpet in the same quality as the original.I chose for the carpet to be replaced in the same quality.SBS then sent me the details of a supplier of similar carpet quality.The patterns did not suit our room,so I asked if I could choose another pattern from a more expensive range and I would pay the extra.SBS said this would not be a problem.SBS even arranged for the old carpet to be lifted and taken away.I am so used to having shoddy service from various companies,it was a great experience to deal with a company that put the customer first.The claims handler could not have been more helpful and replied to any requests extremely promply and very courteous.Thank You

Usually claiming for something on insurance is a slow and long winded process. This was the complete opposite; Fully automated online claim system, very easy to use. Once the claim was processed I got an email from a real person who got the few extra bits of information the need and within 24 hours of opening the case I had a voucher to replace the lost item. Excellent responses and so nice to actually talk to a real person that answered quickly and efficiently, and actually read my questions and got back to me. Very good!! Highly recommend

I cant recommend this company enough. I spoke to Dav who was super professional and prompt with the process. My daughter decided to practice her throwing and smashed the screen of my OLED tv (she's only 2, otherwise she be up for adoption right now) which has been my pride and joy for last couple of years. The claim process took a while with my insurer due to covid and i believe staff working remotely. But soon as it was passed onto SBS and Dav made the initial call you just got the feeling things will be moving on now. But even that exceeded my expectation. We spoke initially on Friday, engineers picked up my tv on following Wednesday by Thursday Dav was back in touch arranging a replacement. He couldn't have made the process easier and his expertise is second to none. He'd done his research into the telly so knew exactly what i needed even before ringing. Ideally you dont need to make a claim but if you do and this company takes over, rest assured you will be sorted. Well done Dav, keep up with the amazing work.

I was nervous when my insurance company informed me my claim had been passed to SBS, and more nervous when I was contacted by them and it was explained concerns had been raised regarding my claim. It was a difficult conversation but the advisor was patient and explained everything clearly. In subsequent follow up calls, although I had to complete required security checks, it was reassuring to be recognised as a person and not just a reference number. The advisor was professional and understanding throughout and demonstrated excellent customer service. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Appointed by my insurer, my dealings with SBS have been easy and very positive. They took ownership of my problem in a very understanding and constructive way and they also explained fully the processes and reasons for any decisions. I am very pleased with the way they resolved my claim and their proactive stance to resolution with the retailer. I can't think of anything that I did not like about my dealing with them and have no hesitation in recommending them and their services.

From the start to the end of my claim SBS have been great. Being a dinosaur I couldn’t complete the claim using the ‘bot’ but very quickly after an email this was sorted. I was kept informed of the progress of the claim and when things weren’t going well trying to find a replacement gadget they could not have been more helpful and went beyond my expectations. Wonderful service, I can’t recommend SBS highly enough.

I have been dealing with a lady at SBS in connection with a claim for my elderly parents. She has been so helpful and attentive. She has dealt with this claim very promptly. She understood the need for this to be dealt with quickly due to my parents’ deteriorating health. I am so please with the result and customer service.

The person I dealt with rang whilst dealing with a claim for esure. I made it clear i was unhappy with 'esure' in the way they handled it and although he was advised from esure to collect the tv he went above and beyond to resolve it on the phone. He respected that i was very frustrated and i left the phone call feeling satisfied and resolved. This guy is a genius on the phone at doing his job and making people feel great. Well done SBS / the person I dealt with.

Burglary is a traumatic event for all of us especially when they take your laptop with precious baby photos of a much loved grandson. Obviously no-one can give you back these special memories but SBS made the whole process of assessing our claim easy from start to finish. The member of staff who dealt with us was well informed, clear, quick to deal with the assessment and incredibly helpful throughout. I can't recommend this company enough and particularly the young man concerned. It just felt such an honest and 'clean' transaction. You know who you are so thank you!

The SBS representative I dealt with (mother-in-law's lost hearing aid) was extremely helpful. The whole process took only three days to complete. Can't thank him enough. Excellent service.

The SBS representative was extremely helpful from first contacting us. He knew the technical details of the hearing aid that we were claiming for, and was able to ensure the correct replacement was ordered. We were kept up to date of the progress of the claim, which was completed in a couple of days. Dealing with a designated representative made the process easier and not stressful in the least. Brilliant service, thank you.

First time claim after many years of paying premiums. Between Esure and SBS I felt I was treated fairly and professionally by staff that were helpful and easy to get hold of. As a piece of advice to anyone reading this, I would say keep receipts for major purchases (paper or online). It helps simplify claims a lot.

I have recently had a claim handled by SBS for an accidentally damaged Toshiba laptop which was beyond repair and was no longer manufactured as a replacement (like for like). My initial contact was with their claims handler, who remained the only person who dealt with the claim throughout as direct contact via emails and phonecalls. After obtaining all the required proofs of my claim and questions about the circumstances that caused the damage to my laptop which can be naturally expected of any claim from any Insurance provider - matters proceeded very quickly and within 24 hours I had a result. Due to the claim being assessed as genuine and also that my original laptop or replacement parts were no longer being manufactured, I was offered a new and quality alternative Brand which was more than acceptable and direct delivery to take place to my home within days. The final phonecall made by me to accept the offer was taken by this man's colleague at SBS's call centre but as whole I am more than pleased with the stress free manner of how my claim was handled and processed and the speed of the favourable outcome in my case. Can't praise the staff involved highly enough and would definitely recommend SBS as a provider.

Having been burgled and going through the ordeal of dealing with a break in and the insurance, it was a delight that SBS who were introduced to procure the stolen items were able to move quickly and swiftly to list the replacements they could offer. The man in charge of my case was able to get replacements sorted ASAP and was able to accommodate a fixed delivery date. This made things tremendously easier to manage which is very welcome when so much is left to do. I'm grateful for his help in getting this sorted.

I would just like to say what a wonderful asset the person I dealt with is to SBS claims. Unfortunately when I called I was extremely upset and anxious, he was very calming,kind and considerate and nothing was too much trouble for him. He helped me so much,and him simply listening to me,was just what I needed. He is simply amazing!! And an absolute credit to the team. Thanks to him.

The carpet team awere wonderful and did an impeccable job. You too someone whos name begins with (H) should be a treasured gem to SbS you followed up practically everyday and chased. Covea Insurance passed our claim for the loss of my wife's jewellery to SBS.Within 2 days my claim was dealt with and settled to my satisfaction.A big thank you to all involved.
