I've just received Churchill's Home insurance renewal premium offer, with 6 years NCD, of £693.24.
Entered exactly the same details as on the renewal notice into Money supermarket - Churchill's offer was £341.32.
Phoned up Churchill, they offered £346.62. The adviser was unable to explain the 100% price difference but did say that this is why it's best to check yourself.
Imagine if I was too elderly, frail or otherwise unable to check.
Have decided not to renew with them......
