Whilst stripping wallpaper with a steam stripper large areas of plaster blistered & had to be removed from the walls, leaving areas that needed to be repaired before painting.
Not wanting to employ a plasterer for what I thought would be a smallish DIY task to put right, I shopped around for a suitable product. At first I used Polycell's Finishing Skim. Although ok, I then went on to use Ronseal's 5 Minute Multi Purpose Smooth Finish Filler. This product was easier to apply & more importantly gave a superior finish; very smooth. After applying with a plastering trowel the damaged wall was as good as new.
