Followed the instructions to the letter and produced some pretty awful "lager".
It has a very hoppy ale like taste and refuses to clear properly. If you want a crisp sharp lager don't buy this. The instructions were clear and easy to follow but with further research it seems the method given is all wrong to brew lager. They are a general set of instructions that clearly apply to all of their kits including ale and cider kits.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your lager has turned out awful. If you need any guidance on how to brew a perfect pint, then please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.

Clearing any brew takes time and there are techniques to make it clear quicker, again, feel free to call us for advice.

We are sorry that you have not taken into account our fast and efficient service to get the product to you, and that the 1 * is for the way your pint has tured out rather than our service.

Your lager will get better with time. It will take approx 4 - 6 weeks to clear the lager and then if you can leave it longer in a pressure barrel or pressure bottles, the flavour will improve greatly.
