did not last even 30 min at full power before the thermal fuse cut out or maybe something worse as basically it's turning on... Need some time to check or whatever, party is over.

These amps are very sensitive to speaker impedence . Altough the back of the amp says 4-8 ohm the manual states speakers below 8 ohm may cause the protection to activate which shuts down power to protect the output stage shown by the mute light blinking . No amp should be run at full power ,even if your speakers are 8 ohm you are overdriving the amp this way causing it to trip the protection .Turning the bass tone up or using loudness will cause similar issues as will low sensitivity speakers , ideally you need 8 ohm and 87 db watt per metre and above. I run mine with Polk TSX 110 which are 8 ohm 89 db w/m and at eleven o'clock on the dial is more than adequate .
