I joined but now a problem has crept up, which threatens peaceful time at the company. This letter is regarding the behaviour of a Trainer Divvya who works in DLF IT PARK RAMAPURAM CHENNAI INDIA, I was forced to discontinue, I am completely disappointed, kindly have one on one with training batches before they reach the floor for calls, so management you people can come to an understanding what’s been imputed in the head
she talks nonsense and creates negative impact,

Bad Service - Customer Care Doesnt Know What They Says
I have been using Lycatalk account for past couple of months. The call gets connected and when we say a word, call gets dropped. But- I was billed for everytime and just ripped my money. I have complained this to their customer service. They are ridiculous and they dont know what they are talking.
They lie and always play around. After long conversations, they transfer call to supervisor and if supervisor cant resolve the issue, He just play around by putting us on mute for several minutes to make us think that call got disconnected so that we wont call them again.
I am not going to leave my issue as it is. I have lost my money, time and I have huge frustration now with these people in customer care. The calls got outsourced to Chennai in India and they just say excuses which even doesnt make any sense.
I am going to formally raise a complaint against customer service with their office in London. But- I lost trust in them and I will not recommened Lycatalk to anyone. Better stay away from them. We will think that, if we use lycatalk, we will save money. But, its happening on other way. We will loose the money and they will make the money.
its always better to dial directly from Mobile if we need to save money and time. If anyone knows a better company than Lycatalk, please let me know.

They are asking for all sorts of info like my driving licence. scan of my passport. credit card number again supposedly for security info.
I already had given them my phone #, date of birth, account ID etc.

I am writing from Canada, I have tried two time with Lyca Star (Lyca Calling Card) company. The customer service is very rude. They don’t know how to speak foreigner even they don’t respect us. They are keep telling me to buy more phone cards. Please don’t but Lyca Star (Lyca Calling Card). It is time us, North American to against them. All the best!

The worst and useless customer service I have ever come across. They lie to you on your face. Shit-ty service. Would never recommend to anybody.

In last +6 months I have tried different calling cards and lycatalk is worst among them.
1. First time ever I faced voice quality problems with some phone service. It was not the case for each call but other providers gave me 100% satisfaction.
2. Once I recharged for $10 within 3-4 days they increased their rate from 1 cent/min to 1.5 cent/min. How can they increase 50% rate suddenly, on top of that they are not ready to refund me for unused amount, when I bought service they guaranteed for certain rate, if they cant stick to it at-least release me.
3. Their speed dial is worst, so many times it connected me to wrong numbers and I had to apologize to the other person.
4. Most of text boxes on their site doesn't allows copy-paste, every time while putting numbers I have to type rather than copy-pasting from my common list. I hope they read this and correct those errors, it is frustrating to write all those numbers again, it even don't allow to copy text.
My suggestion is to avoid them.

This is the worst international phone card company I have come across. Their local access numbers are false/disconnected numbers, and they don't have 24/7 customer service although they say they do, and
I live in Buffalo, NY, and I tried to use the Lyca Asia and Global Tel cards. Card numbers: 8035-0011-5675,8035-0014-6743, and 6868-0009-3126. I used these two cards between July 4th and July 6th 2013.
First, I used the Global Tel card. The Buffalo local access number 716-541-3977 (this number appears on both cards) does not work. It has been disconnected.
It was around 9.00 p.m. and Lycatel customer services operate ONLY weekdays 9-5. I needed to make an urgent call to Canada, and other call cards give me 100+ minutes, so I thought I'll use the toll free number. It turns out I had 50 minutes. I still wanted to make the call and I used up 33 minutes.
The next day, I tried calling to Canada again to use the remaining minutes, and again the local access number did not work. I presumed that I got fewer minutes because I used the Toll free number so I thought I'll get a new local access number by calling customer service.
So I called customer service. They gave me a second number, which also did not work.
I called a 3rd time and they gave me 4 numbers, of which 3 have been disconnected, and the fourth always (and I mean absolutely ALWAYS, no matter what your circumstances) says "all circuits are busy now." Essentially NONE OF THEIR BUFFALO LOCAL ACCESS NUMBERS WORK.
I tried using the toll free number again, a second time, to make my call. It said 0 credit. So I called customer service again. I didn't think that it was fair to penalize me because their LAN's are all disconnected.
So I called customer service once again, and asked them quite politely to check the credit on my card. The woman who answered the phone said that they will take up to six hours to check my minutes. SIX HOURS. It was close to 12.00 noon, so six hours meant next day because their customer service don't work after 5. By this time, to be honest, I was quite angry. I asked them for a U.S. number I could call to get the situation clarified. They said that they are not authorized to give that information. Then I asked if there was someone I could complain to for selling call cards using false access numbers. Again they said they cannot give that information.
I asked them if there was way that this could be fixed before six hours. They said no.
Because I needed to make the call, I bought two Lyca Asia cards without realizing that they were from the same company. I managed to take one call to Sri Lanka using the toll free number: it gave me less than a minute. I tried to call Canada, and the call went to an answering machine (less than 15 seconds). After that, I had 0 balance. They never got back to me on the complain I made.
So beware. They give you false local access numbers, don't have 24/7 customer service as they claim they do, and they claim they need 6 hours to check your card balance. I hope some manager reads this because all they seem to have are just two customer service people running the entire company.
Unfortunetly you 100% right. I had bad experience with Lyca and their customer service ,and i will never buy their card again. I use calling cards all the time, at least 11-12 years and had never that bad experience ... They cut minutes, cut in the middle of your conversation, and charge u for that. Try to explain anything then to their customer service rep. ( I always had the same guy I could hardly understand because of his heavy accent). Obviously he didnt understand me since I got nowhere after talking to him for 15 min 3 times...whatever... Never buying this crapy card again...

I live in Belgium. I used to buy 5 euros VIPER international call card. The card announced 35 minutes call for the country I called to (I use this card to call to the SAME country each time).
The first cards (about 70 to 90 cards) were correct, it gave me 35 minutes communication time. Lately, since more or less the last months, it keeps announcing 35 minutes but after 17 minutes, they say I do not have enough credits. I have lost about 15 cards like that.
I used the telephone number on thir card to talk about it, it took time and finally I was told by a lady that I have to call back the day after.
Can someone tell me how I can do to recuperate the credits I have lost? For me, announcing 35 minutes which turns out to be 17 minutes.
They should say the real amount of time corresponding to the money you pay.

PURCHASED 3 VIPER INTERNATIONAL CALLING CARDS.I used my cards to call Pakistian on Saturday 3/oct/2012 I had a balance of £1.79 in credit. When I tried using my card it was telling me that I had no Credit? Huh. I contacted customer services and an Indian lady stated that there system was down and can I call in back in 30 min! say it all!!! Today I contacted Customer services at Viper and Spoke to Raj yet another Indian who stated that there has been an increase in call tariff to Pakistan and that I have made 5 call totalling 950 min!!! previously I was able to get nearly 1500 min per card calling the same number!!!! then he told me that there were charges for using the card? huh What a joke!!!! then I asked him if they were regulated which he refused to answer!!!! Surprise surprise!!!

PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE EVIL DEVIL WORSHIPPING B*ST**DS WHO MAKE THERE LIVING CONNING INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!THANK GOD FOR BT WHO MAY SEEM TO BE EXPENSIVE BUT TRUST ME BUYING A CARD FOR £5 AND PAYING £1.79 IN CHARGES MAKES BT LOOK LIKE SAINT AND REGULATED !!!YET AGAIN FOREIGNERS INVADED OUR COUNTRY TRYING TO MAKE A FAST BUCK AT THE EXPENSE OF GENUINE PEOPLE!!!!SHAME ON YOU!!!!
