Excellent Savings, Very Happy

Damtel save me money every single month, without fail. Bills always seem to be correct whereas XLN always seemed to get the bills wrong every month. I am very happy with Damtel.

Happy Customer Of Nearly 6 Years

I have been with these guys since 2009 and have had no complaints. Bills always seem to stack up and faults have been dealt with quickly (although admittedly they send BT but I think that this is normal procedure).

They needed a bit of nagging to get me on Direct Debit but when I eventually did this, they gave me a 5% discount which I was happy with.

Would definitely recommend.

A Breath Of Fresh Air

Having been with BT for 2 decades, they had become the 'devil I knew'. I was very reluctant to change because I would rather be knowingly ripped off rather than risk using a young company with unknown risks.

But I was somehow convinced by Damtel's sales rep to change to them. I was somewhat reassured that my number would remain on the BT Openreach network and that the risk was therefore very small, even if the new lot went bust.

Anyway, 9 months on, I'm saving hundreds of pounds every quarter.

Very happy - have recommended 12 friends already!

Operative Was Very Helpful

My line was not working so I phoned damtel whose representative was very helpful. BT came out but it turned out to be a problem with my phone system itself. My insurance and maintenance on the system had expired a while ago but damtel kindly fixed it even though i was not covered and did not charge me anything.

Cheap And Straight Forward Service

After years of receiving bad and expensive service from BT, it was a breath of fresh air to discover that I could stay on the BT network, keep my number but not have to deal with BT!!!

I'm happy with Damtel. I am sure that they're not perfect, who is, but certainly better than the others I have tried - XLN, BT, Unicom, Chess, Daisy etc etc.

Fixed A Long Standing Fault Which Bt Could Not Manage.

I had extensive underground cabling issues dating back 10 years. BT had visited site many and told me that the only way to fix issue was to dig up whole road (this was impossible for me as I run a busy yard).

We spoke to DAMtel and the fault was fixed within a month of joining them.

Awful Company!

I was with Damtel and then back in January they left me with no service, no phoneline and no internet and no card payment machine!! With no explanation or apology, they lied and told me I had a fault on my line, which was not the truth...they were in a dispute with the company they rent lines from Damtel had not paid there bills!! so all lines were cut..Damtel never told me this I found this out later....After they made me wait at the shop one day for a tech guy to come fix it, which never happened, I opened early one day for them to come here...they didn't show up!! They kept repeatly promising my "fault" would be fixed within 4 hours they told me this EVERY DAY..After about 10 days of constant lies and broken promises I realised they were never going to fix my line, they just kept on fobbing me off. They are THE worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, Vile and rude staff, extremely poor customer service. They lost my business thousands of pounds! take my advice and never use them as your provider.

Awful Company, There Were Problems With Service In

Awful company, there were problems with service interruptions which then turned out to be based on them not paying their bills to their own suppliers. First we were told our service was with Opal but they later told us it was with Nine Telecom resulting in 100's if not more customer being cut off with loss of service, we not only lost service but long standing relationships with contractual customers cost us many thousands of pounds.

This is so interesting. We were a supplier to DamTel of a more minor service. They told a series of lies about why they had not paid us. We finally took us to Small Claims Court . They then refused to pay us although we applied for judgement against them. We found at the time there were 2 other suppliers in the same position.

Interesting to read that finally after not paying a main supplier that their service was cut off.

I totally agree with you, Damtel are just plain AWFUL. I also lost service when I was with them....they tell constant lies and the customer service you receive is absolutely appalling!

This Company Has No Morals What So Ever

I had been with this company for a couple of years with no problems,

then about a year ago they advised me to go with a company called chess telecom, with whom they had done sort of deal.

after a number of months Damtel then got in contact and stated that Chess was not a good company to deal with, and asked to come back to them.

this I did but there seemed to be some major in fighting between the two companies.

In January this year another company (Nine Telecom) wrote to say that Damtel was not paying the monies owed to them, and that I should switch to Nine Telecom otherwise the phone line would be cut off.

I informed Damtel of this letter and they said it was a scam.

Finally my phone was cut off by Nine Telecom. Although through communications with Damtel they said it was a fault on the line

after a few days and a loss of £188, I had no choice but to switch to Nine Telecom on a rolling contract, within ten minutes my phone line was back on.

Damtel still do not recognise their actions were completely wrong.

I'm still getting correspondence from Chess telecom for unpaid bills

Damtel today have issued a letter before CCJ claim also for unpaid bills.
