Don't Believe A Word
Two years ago had this sales call from blue cherry They actually said that they where part of BT but the whole sale side didn't think much of that,
They said they could beat any provider so I went through what i was paying with BT, They said they could beat them easily and they had this price promise so I could not lose there was no mention of a five year contract at this point not till they wher recording me. So I signed up with them,
The Last Year with BT Cost My company £992.61 that's telephone and broadband
1st year with Blue Cherry £834.95 + 300 Broadband
2nd year with Blue Cherry ££892.41 + 300 broadband
I was not very happy After looking at these figures so i went looking for a better deal found one very easily everything for £32 per month
Which to there credit they did match but they said they could not do anything about the first 2 years which they did guarantee that they would beat BT Any way Long story short i did try to move back to bt and they tried to charge me £495 Breach of contract after about 50 emails back and forth bt tring to beat them and blue cherry matching every time I have to stay with Them But I Get everything for £24.99 Per month
PLEASE FOR YOU SACK DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
if you do make them record the whole conversation then they would come unstuck

Disgusting Sales Person
I was contacted by Bluecherry earlier today and was curious about the savings when half way through asking the man I was talking to he put the phone down?!
worse was to come he called me back and said and i quote "sorry luv I needed a dump had egg sandwiches for lunch like" I could here a young girl laughing he was clearly trying to impress her but he didnt impress me in fact I can safely say I will not be using this company and their unprofessional sales people

Having used this company for several years we were astonished to find that no matter when one decides to change you are charged nearly £400. So make sure you read the section re cancellation. In our case it was right at the end of 'the conditions ( 20.2 ) section'. At this point if you have read everything you are virtually brain dead!!
There is obviously no reward for years of loyalty with this company.

I like a number of others was suckered in by this company.
The prices are good but customer services sucks.
However the wammy is the 60 month contract...
Did she really say 60 months, I thought she said 6.
She did say it very fast. Now I know why.
You won't find this out until you try to move to another provider.
An no paper contract to read.
Stay well away unless you happy with a 5 YEAR contract!!!

Bluecherry - An Absolute Con
This company are a complete disgrace. Like a fool I allowed myself to be talked into using them due to my bad experiences with BT. Oh BT where are you now? Whatever you do avoid Bluecherry like the plague.
After phone bills that bear no relation to what I thought I should be payingI have now been slapped with a £99 bill for disconnecting from them. The whole episode has been expensive and very unpleasant.
I'm sure it's all (or some of it) in the small print. They are however intentionally devious and deceitful and I expect and hope to see their name in the courts shortly.

Blue Cherry - Do Not Get Sucked In By This Horrible Company.
We moved to Blue Cherry in 2010 because they offered cheap line rental.
Since then they have been an absolute nightmare.
Firstly - they took over our line supply, but did not sign us up to the call charges we had discussed i.e. capped calls. I failed to notice this for a number of months and ended up paying far more than discussed.
Obviously they denied all knowledge of this and claimed that we had not signed up to the price plan. We are a recruitment company who spend the majority of our time speaking to people on mobiles - why would we not have asked for capped calls?
Service is shockingly bad.
Got so fed up with them recently because 2 of our ISDN lines were going through to a completely separate company, and it took well over a week to rectify, that I decided to change supplier.
They have now informed me that I am in a 60 month contract and have sent a recording of me agreeing to this. I understand this is known in the trade as "slamming". They call you back when you are not expecting it, run through a few details and then chuck in a "60 month price promise agreement" as an aside.
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I wish I had stuck to my No.1 golden rule of not getting sucked in by an unsolicited telesales call.
I am currently discussing it with my solicitor to see if we can get out of it.

Blind Sold Me A 5 Year Contract
Blind sold me a 5 year contract! After agreeing to go back to BT, Blue Cherry rang me to inform me that I'd have to pay a £350 cancelation fee as I was in a 5 year contract with them. This was something I had never agreed to and when I told the guy on the phone, he said they had the phone call of me agreeing recorded and he would send it to me. The email didn't turn up and I doubt that they record it. So I'm off to BT, and if Blue Cherry can happily take me to court if they'd like to waste their ill gotten profits!

Avoid!!!! Poor Customer Service & Huge Hudden Charges.
Very poor service received with hidden contractual terms doubling payments without notification/warning and extortionate exit fees. Promises of no contract tie-ins and free exit if I found a better deal when signing up but all contradicted when an exit charge of c.£500 was received they refused to accept the original promises. The contract automatically set up after 1 year without notification was for 5 years, and that was after the monthly charges had doubled! Very disappointed in lack of customer care, honesty and flexibility to reconsider the fee or resolve the situation afterwards. Will never use again or recommend to anyone.
Great news re change in Ofcom rules - no residential or small business customer can be automatically tied into a renewed contract without consent - as of 1/1/2012. Doesn't help me but at least i can't be stung by this again and it'll stop Bluecherry conning anyone else.
Ive just gone back to BT - unfortunately not having read the small print of Blue Cherry's terms of contract beforehand - I thought telecom companies had a maximum tie in of 2 years. Expensive mistake - £450! Extortionate....

Blue Cherry, Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
I was with Sky and after a call from Blue Cherry telling me how they could beat sky prices I stupidly signed up to them for the sake of a few pounds saving. I actually found that on the first Blue Cherry bill that they had added several extras like fraud aware, caller display and some other extras which cost a lot more than i had been paying with sky. I immediatley rang them and went mad and they made the usual excuses and dropped the unwanted extras. I have noticed since then that the bill is still higher than Sky so have arranged to go back to Sky. I have just recieved a letter from Blue Cherry saying they are sorry to hear i am leaving but i am now liable for a £395 + vat charge due to terminating my contract early. Obviously steam came out of my ears at this stage so got on the phone to them again to be told it was a mistake and that price was for a business line, the residential charge is £99.00 + vat! Stiil enraged by the charge that i had not been made aware of when joining i was told the classic line of i should of read the terms and conditions. After arguing the point the phone was put down on me. Very proffesional! I rang again to be told the same by another person so have got the email from them to complain which is enquiriesbluecherrytelecom.com so as you can see its just an enquiries address and im sure it will just be ignored.
These companies should be ashamed of themselves with their hidden costs and extortionate get out penalties so all I can reccomend when you get a call from these cowboys is avoid, avoid, avoid.

Bluecherry Fraud Aware ......beware !!!!!
Another customer of bluecherry who is into a 5 year contract :(
Recently found out that Fraud aware was added to the bill without our consent
They state it is an opt out option which they don't inform you of unless your looking for it
These cowboys should be struck off for this underhand outrageous tactic
If you are a bluecherry customer make sure you check your bill carefully
Will be leaving once the 5 year contract is up

Out of interest if you are out of contract, how can they charge you to leave, have they added to the small print that a charge will be payable, on ending services with them? If this is the case I will be taking the matter to ofcom.
I too have suffered this nonsense. Whilst raising a dispute on ceasation fees with bluecherry I happened to look into my past bills only to find that it had been charged every month for the past two years.
I never asked for this service nor did I want it or for that matter even know what it was? It is simply assumed and then charged. Just a way to collect additional money by deceptive means, exactly as you put it, an outrageous underhand tactic.
Now I am being charged to leave bluecherry even though my contact with them has long since expired. Disgusting.
