Load Of Rubbish
I bought a top up tv card to watch the odd premiership match. After 5 months they only had about 3 games on at the peak of the season.
Now they don't even show any premiership games. I ditched this and have gone to sky.
I wouldn't touch go anywhere near this company..
Besides they probably won't exist anymore by the time I have fininshed typing this.
Also just sent this email to customer services
Hi
Your company is a disgrace. I bought a top up tv card to watch ESPN(1 decent game in 4 months).
Then ESPN withdraw from showing premiership games so I cancel my direct debit(I couldn't find a contact no for your customer services).
Anyway I end up with a Debt Recovery Agency trying to get £23 out of me(£23 for what, freeview!!).
Anyway I asked the Debt Recovery bloke what your no was and I managed to get through. Your customer service staff was the most arrogant person I have ever spoken to and started bleating on about bad credit.
Anyway I have paid the payment and given you a very bad review. So have 100 other people who have had the same problems as me.
Anyway your company will not exist in 6 months time as I have got a 12 month package for £25 per month for 6 sports channels(premiership and not spanish).
So goodbye and good riddance.

Rock Bottom Company
I tried top up TV, setting it up was a nightmare, and after a few months viewing, decided this was not for me. Now comes the tricky part - Cancellation!
When I phoned them, they promised special offers galore to try to get me to stay with them, but I refused and was charged a cancellation fee. Just when I thought I had seen the back of this outfit, they charged my card for another months subscription. I had to make another call to them on an 0871 number and pay through the nose yet again.
So, to sum up there is nothing that I can see as being worthwhile about this company whatsoever, the way they treat their customers is diabolical, and there are many people out there who have had the same experience.

Awful Top Up Tv
This was my first ever QVC order. I was tempted by the "clearance price" for top up tv with 2 months free sports channels - but it seems you get less than you pay for.
I ordered in on Wednesday evening and it arrived promptly this morning (Friday). Impressive looking packaging. Opened it up plugged it in - it all works.
Then the problems begin - trying to get the top up tv. Top up tv seem to have an extensive range of "0844" numbers and "0871" numbers. There's one in a paper insert in this box, a different on when you look at the channel you want access to and several more on the website.
All of these numbers are consistent - they ring twice and a message says "sorry we have been unable to connect your call" but still charge me 25 p each time (on my mobile).
I tried to use the website address given in the paper insert. (after spending a while filling it all out - and providving the number underneath the freeview box) it tells me there has been a problem and give me yet another 0844 number to call - which wont connect.
This will be going straight back to QVC. I thought I was buying a bargain - but it appears that it might be actually cheaper to go to the live games rather than watch it on "freeview" - and less frustrating - even if your team loses than dealing with "top up tv" - they should be just called "top up" (for their bank balances - they dont provide any tv).
I know QVC are separate to them, but I feel they have a duty to check out their suppliers properly. Buying with confidence? I dont think so - I may get the purchase cost back, but the phone charges and the frustration? not worth it."

Dire, Tripe, Crooks!
Having thought that a few extra channels at a reasonable price was a good, I proceeded with the BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, no service, rude customer service (when you can finally find a valid number for them), I cancelled my Direct Debit (which got their attention), just today I got a £70 debt collection letter (which I paid, unfortunately!), NEVER EVER TOUCH TOP UP TV (you WILL regret it!)

My Dad's Terrible Experience With Top Up Tv
My Dad had Top Up TV as at the time he felt that SKY was an expense as a pensioner that he could do without. Howevever, he simply was not getting the TV choice he required and as a family we insisted he used some of his pension to pay for SKY Sports and enjoy what he used to love playing as a spectator from his own armchair. All went well and we e-mailed and phoned to cancel his Top Up TV payment of £25 per month. After numerous attempts he cancelled his Direct Debit and amazingly this elicited a response within days! The response was a very unpleasant letter indicating that as he was in a contractual period failure to pay would result in their debt collection agency being alerted. It turns out that as Dad accepted the new Top Up box that came through the post unasked for this tied him in to a 12 month contract. My Dad who is 88 this year was virtually in tears when he received this letter on Friday both my husband and I spent hours on the phone trying and eventually contacting Customer Service (a total contradiction in terms). My husband asked if he could pay any amount they said was outstanding by Debit Card and at first they said Dad could only set up a Direct Debit again and pay in this way from Februaury to July inclusive. I phoned again as this would have pushed him over the edge and Ashleigh (I'm not allowed to give you my surname) said that we could send a cheque with a letter. I tried to put the point that at nearly 88 surely a supervisor or manager could allow me to pay on Dad's behalf over the phone to save him further distress, but to no avail! So my dear old Dad.....a D.Day veteran who has never owed a penny in his life, worked every day until he retired on his 65th birthday has had to write a £150 cheque to pay until July 2012 and is at this moment living in dread of the message not having got through to TUTV and the bailiffs knocking at his door. No wonder the company is registered in Jersey, if they can earn £150 by just making life so difficult for a pensioner without a voice they can afford it!

Stay Away
I have been with these people for 10 months, waiting for the 1st of march to able to cancel my 12 months contract. They withdrew channels a couple of months ago and did not put alternative ones. If you want to pay to essentially watch freeview or very old episodes of popular series, then this would be ok. I have disconnected the box, just waiting a few more weeks to cancel.
Customer service people not nice in general,
