What Happened?

I've used entanet through a reseller for years and had nothing but good service. Recently the billing moved over to Entanet themselves, and since then I have been charged for services I've never recieved, money they admit I don't owe is taken from my account regardless, promised refunds never happen.

Zero Knowledge And Customer Service

Having been miss-sold a VOiP product I have found it almost impossible to move our number back to a conventional land line. Entanet's procedures are impossibly complicated and even their customer service staff cannot understand them.Orders are cancelled and no explanation can be given as to why this happens. Tech support is so basic my child can resolve issues quicker. On one occasion a BT engineer was arranged to investigate a fault for which I was billed a rather large amount by Entanet , when it transpired the fault had been caused by BT. They acknowledged this fault was nothing to do with my equipment and it was a BT generated fault but refused to refund my money. I have nothing positive to say about Entanet and having instructed a different telecoms provider to supply our services they are equally frustrated at Entanets incompetence. So far it has taken 8 weeks of calls, emails and faxes to try and leave with the result to date being Entanet cannot explain why the will not release our number.

I Was With A Standard (seriously Internet), Who Ha

I was with A Standard (Seriously Internet), who have been taken over by Entanet. Since they have taken over my connection has been pathetic, download speeds of 15KB on average. Yes that's right slower than dial up since Entanet took over!! And that's only the half of it the connection drops out after a few minutes downloading, and with these connection speeds that means web pages take about 3-4 minutes to download; that's if they don't drop out and have to be refreshed before they have loaded.

I have now dropped Entanet!!

I could not recommend them to anyone.

Been With Entanet For A Few Years Now, And They Ha

Been with Entanet for a few years now, and they have really gone downhill. Emails get ignored, and they take money from you with out your authority. I've asked them about 10 times to take my card details off of their system, they take over a week just to answer my emails.

My problem is that they changed their terms and conditions without giving me any notice, its the bt cease charge. I've just left them and been hit with a £30 charge for leaving, even though i'm not in a contract with them. I've never agreed to this change of terms and conditions and not been given any notice of it.

I've sent numerous emails but they just get ignored. I wouldn't go near them again after the way they've been to me. Be warned.

I've Been With A Few Providers Over The Years, But

I've been with a few providers over the years, but my worst experience was with EntaNet. I always thought BT were the worst for traffic profiling/shaping, but EntaNet win the cake. I'm in the wilds here, so I wasn't expecting huge speed. Started out at 1.5MBs (that's very good for this area), and gradually decreased to 12KBs over the period of one month. No line fault - it was Entanet throttling the connection. They even had the cheek to demand my 'Cease Fee'. I refused flatly to pay for ceasing something that wasn't delivered as promised in the first place. If you're thinking of going with this outfit, I seriously recommend you reconsider.

A Very Good Isp In 2006-2007, Mediocre In 2008, Aw

A very good ISP in 2006-2007, mediocre in 2008, awful in 2009 with low speeds and massive over selling of capacity.

Despite promises of never ever packet shaping or throttling this has gone out of the window and during peak hours it can get slow.

We are now into 2010 and I am beginning to look around as £30 a month is no longer a value for money service when I can get the same throttled service for my level of usage for half that price.

Also the level of customer service as pointed out elsewhere is just awful.

Fantastic Broadband Provider. Not Recom

Fantastic broadband provider.

Not recommended for Novice users who can't do their own filter/telephone checks.

Been with them for 2 years now. No traffic shaping, you GET what you pay for. Yes its a little more expensive (I'm on the £28.70 package)

You get you own eBilling page, you can check how much bandwidth you have used during the peak/off peak.

None of that Fair Usage Policy Crapp, that other providers hide behind once they have you on a contact.

Entanet also don't keep me on a contact. Though I think you do need to give them 30days notice.

Enta Net Adsl - On The Occassional Time It Works -

Enta net adsl - on the occassional time it works - is stable and a good connection.

Their customer service though is nothing short of abysmal.

I had an engineer booked to attend a line fault on Friday, didn't show up. Attempted to rebook for Monday, was told by entanet he's be here on Monday. I booked another day's holiday t wait for an engineer, phoned up enta net again and was utterly gobsmacked to hear they'd booked the engineer for a different day.

Agents are unhelpful, expect to spend very long periods on hold, and no matter what they tell you, you will *not* receive a call back on any customer service query.

If you are considering entanet - my advise is to only use them if you can absolutely guarentee you will never have a fault or reason to contact them.

On the positive side, I've finally found a company that makes sky'f free broadband customer support look adequate...

Entanet Lie. They Threaten To Send Out Bt And Char

Entanet lie. They threaten to send out BT and charge me a hell of a lot of money, and then they take upto three days to reply. I just sent a ticket in wednesday and only recieved a reply at 8pm on saturday. I just cannot believe they refuse to do anthing to help my disconnections. They happen on the 24hrs and I have had just about enough of them and their lowsy 21CN offering. Please Entanet, there are people paying more for more bandwidth and still getting the same poor service.

Oh and another thing, train your staff better because they sound like they are not bothered one bit.

At First I Was Impressed With My Connection To Ukf

At first I was impressed with my connection to ukfsn.org. Then my heart sank when I realised that the upstream provider was Entanet. A company which knows nothing about customer care. I was cut off several times when they refused to recognise my Mastercard and only grudgingly reconnected after I had paid. Then they disconnected me several times after I had paid. Then I found out that in order to continue with my connection after moving house Entanet told me that I had to move to adsl24.co.uk to continue my service. I wanted ukfsn.org but I wasn't allowed to carry on with that. Trying to enter into the complaints procedure was like trying to complain about an MPs expenses. Mostly impossible. So, breaks of weeks on end after I have paid and only able to pay online with a Mastercard and no other way to pay. Whic lead to further disconnections. All of which I was not allowed to complain about.I have gone back to Zen Internet in Rochdale who were always much better than anyone else. I now have a solid and reliable net connection.
