Hopeless

I quote from their own terms and conditions ". Most problems can be resolved with a telephone call to our Customer Services team" - there is no contact number! As with another review if I could give them less than a stat I would.

It Wont Allow Me To Give Them Less Than 1 Star

I provide IT support for small to medium sized businesses in the UK. A client of mine has been using breath internet for years and they have been trouble from day one. Poor service, compromised servers, out dated website and control panel. If you know what you are looking for you can smell a rat from miles away. Recently their mail servers were compromised, mail ceased without any explanation, eventually I was able to some sort of bland response from their support portal. My client had to change his password despite being a very strong alpha-numeric password. Ironically, I have eventually talked my client into moving away and I now can't access their webmail service to put on an email forwarding! This is classic case of under-investment from day one.

About As Useful A Chocolate Teapot!

I changed broadband from Breathe to TalkTalk and I didn't realise Breathe had continued to charge me a total of over £400.00 over 2 years on my Visa card.

When I contacted them, they told me my account was still open, despite a complete line takeover (LLU) from TalkTalk. Therefore they could close my account, but not refund me.

I am gobsmacked they think it's OK to charge me around £17.00 pcm for providing no service and say that because I didn't formally close the account myself they cannot refund.

I decided to escalate this to CISAS in line with their code of practice here:

http://www.breatheinternet.com/CodeOfPractice.pdf

But they aren't even a member! Neither are they a member of the Communication Ombudsman! I spoke to Ofcom who told me they were no-compliant with Ofcom regulations so Ofcom will be in touch with Breathe.

The upshot is, there is no Alternative Dispute Resolution service available with Breathe as they are not registered with anyone.

So....

No more replies to emails

No refund of monies taken with supplying a service

No Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Sorry, can't recommend Breathe to anyone!

There Must Be Better Providers Out There Avoid.

I was a became a customer of Zetnet when they were operating out of Shetland. When they became part of Breathe 18 months or so ago they cut me off for 3 months, or so, and lost all my emails. I stayed with them because I liked my email address. Now they have changed their system and I cannot log in to my email account. When I contacted them giving them my original account number they don't seem to be able to find me in their system. I just don't get it, last week I had an email address this week I don't. "Breathe today gone tomorrow".

There must be better internet providers out there.

Started With Breathe In 2001 When They Were 0800di

Started with Breathe in 2001 when they were 0800dial. Good reliable service then. When takeovers started much disruption of service but stuck with them in the hope it would get better. Problems earlier in year when I couldn't dial-up for weeks on end. They said it was my phone line so went to lots of trouble to get it checked - not my fault at all. After change of connection number Breathe seemed to get better, but now its starting over again. Haven't had a connection for two weeks and support e-mails give same messages as before. Now totally disillusioned so am cancelling with them.

Breathe Will Take Your Breath Away With Their Inco

Breathe will take your breath away with their incompetence and greed. Chopped me off at the pass demanding money again. They won't answer emails, won't answer the phone. They deserve to go down the tubes. No doubt Breathe2 will arise the following day. When companies go into administration Company Directors should be barred from directorship for two years.
