I ordered two hay nets. Never received them and never had any reply to my messages neither did paypal when they contacted them. Do not buy from them

After spending hours even days! Surfing the web for a cheap mini Shetland bridle I decided that farrendale equestrian was by far the cheapest. £20 approx for a leather bridle! Thinking was to good to be true decided to call them however noone ever answered and noone returned my calls. Decided to do a review search before pressing the PayPal button and thank god found this other review from the lady with no back protector. Clearly the price was to good to be true!

Wanted a body protector for my daughter. She had outgrown the childs size one we already owned and we needed a new adults size one (way more expensive).

After shopping around comparing prices, we opted to use www.farrendaleequestrian.co.uk and after choosing the size and colour we wanted, we paid - by the only method given - paypal. We have no qualms using paypal as we have verified account and verified bank details.

We chose the premium service (2-3 days) as we needed the item by the following Monday (we paid on the Wednesday).

After ordering we received NO email confirmation of order or acknowledgement of payment (except the paypal email). Presumed things would just progress as normal and left it be. When Saturday came and went and we still hadn't heard anything, we started worrying. We emailed through the site and got no reply - ever. We phoned and left two messages asking them to contact us and pointing out our concerns.

We then got really worried and as they have a facebook profile under their old business name, we asked about what had happened and voiced that we were now concerned that we may now have been duped.

Eventually we found them also selling on ebay where there was a mobile number also listed. We rang this and was told that there was no information on chosen premium delivery being chosen via paypal and that the order would be with us by the following thursday. THEY didn't even ask who I was or what I had ordered.

The long story is that in the end we agreed that my order would be cancelled, refunded and I'd go elsewhere. It's now the Saturday after and I'm STILL waiting my refund. I've had to lodge a claim with paypal and escalate it.

Whoever is running this company (and the mailing address reveals a bungalow residential property) has no sense of customer service and i still and worried that we may not see our money again. No reply to emails, phone calls or contact of any kind. All blame was placed with paypal but even when they said they'd refund my £69.00 - which I sorely need to have so I may order elsewhere - they are just doing nothing.

An absolutely abysmal business. Avoid like the plague!
