The Person I Dealt With Went That Extra Mile

We bought a light from this company recently and when it didn't arrive after a week we made contact. We were assured that the goods were on the way and that it was in the hands of the carrier. Another 3 days went on and still it didn't arrive and I made contact with the person I dealt with, mindful of the poor reviews this company has had.

He was most apologetic and took it upon himself to see what was going on. To cut things short, the lights were with the carrier but the van had been off the road for several days with our lights in it!!

He kept updating me regularly about what progress he was making and within a few hours those lights were delivered.

Thank you to him, we so appreciate your help and can only praise the service we received. Would I buy from Lighting by Gabrielli again - YES I would.

They Were Easy And Trustworthy To Deal With .when

They were easy and trustworthy to deal with .When there was a problem ( nothing to do with themselves ) they were polite and got it sorted straight away with no hassle.

I would recommend them and I loved my wall lights.

No problem trying to contact them and always very helpful.

Disgraceful After Sales Service!

Disgraceful after sales service! It took 4 e mails and 2 telephone calls to even get a response and then a very unsatisfactory one. I will not be using this company again. If i could give zero stars i would!

Good Company To Deal With

After ordering a light fitting on line, I didn't hear anything for 4 days, so I sent a message to their customer service department. A member of staff telephoned me to give me an update on the order progress. They were both helpful and courteous, and explained how the delivery tracking process worked.

Within a day, I received a text message giving the delivery date, and tracking information, and on the delivery date, a further text message, giving me a one hour time slot. The parcel arrived on time, as informed.

The light fitting I ordered was competitively priced, and worked perfectly.

Overall a good company to do business with, and I would have no hesitation to use them again.

Very Good Service

I recently ordered a large quantity of lighting from Gabrielli as I liked to look and quality of the items on the website. Before I ordered, I wanted to speak to someone from the company to make sure that it sounded ok. I spoke to a very helpful lady who answered my queries. The goods were received within a week or so and I am very pleased with the look and quality. One item was out of stock but this arrived within a short period of time. I needed to return an item as it was not suitable and did manage to do this successfully, although the process is very specific to this company. All in all I am very pleased with my order and the service that I received but it may be helpful to make the returns policy more noticeable when ordering as I was not aware of the 7 day return policy or the fact that you had to request a return number and label before sending anything back. This was probably because I did not read the small print of the terms and conditions, but as it is so specific, it needs to be displayed more prominently.

Omg!! Nightmare Customer Service!

I order a stair light, it took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did it was massively too big. I called to explain the situation and initally wanted an exchange. on calling the customer services number I was met with the most rude man (it is always the same man, I believe it is a samll company he may even be the owner) He was most short, unhelpfull and rude. He said I would have to send an email within 7 days to return,speaking to him on the phone was not sufficient.

After I sent the email I could not post the light back for a refund until he sent me a number to stick on the box which took him 3 days. when he sent the number I had to post back be with him within 7 days or again he would not refund. I had to send back recorded delivery at my own cost through the post office. After a week of not hearing anything I emailed and still got no reply, after calling I was told (again very abruptly)that he aims to refund the money within 30 days!!! and only if the item is returned to his satisfaction!!!

The customer services offered by this company is an utter joke and I would strongly advise against ordering from them,as you have to go through the same ordeal if the item you recieve is damaged or faulty.

An altogether bad experience!

Have experienced a similar situation spoke to a very rude arrogant man, if he is the example of their customer service its i very poor company, certainly wont be going back, and would discourage anyone thinking of buying from Lighting By Gabrielli

Ordered Light Shades

Ordered light shades but when received decided wanted a different type of shades. Contacted the company very pleasant when you order but extremely not so when u wish to return - advised I had missed there very short term returns policy even though most companies provide you longer ie. 28 days !! They did not want to know - all I wanted was a replacement , sent back the shades any way and I have had them say they never received them !!!!! Surprise surprise even though I had it sent by registered post. Seriously do not touch this company with a barge pole totally unreasonable , never want to talk to you , happy to take your money and a bunch of slippery con artists !!!!!walk away and find another more reputable company to buy lighting from !!!!! Still trying to get my money back.
