Steer Well Clear Of This Company. As I Write I Am
Steer well clear of this company. As I write I am waiting to have a dining table and chairs uplifted.
When it arrived chairs were broken, ok contacted the company and they promptly delivered four more chairs, broken again and obviously so.
Seems that they were quite happy to leave this firewood with me.
Contacted 'customer services' and was told that no one speaks to the director of the company and was left in little doubt that who was I to be so brazen as to require to speak to the boss.
This is a company heading for the rocks and one which blatantly has no respect for their customers.
It is a shame really as I did regard Reids as an honourable company.
I am not the only person I know who is currently experiencing this level of service and would advise people to be very wary and If you do decide to buy from this company triple check your order, It would be a miricle if it arrives in one piece. Caviat Emptor!

That Is A Nice Furniture With Looks Soft And Comfo
That is a nice furniture with looks soft and comfortable sit, but I wonder isn't that a widow color used which expressing the sadness, loneliness, and eternal waits. How about making that seat with more colorful colors like yellow, green, etc. It will make people more likely to at least see that furniture.Or It might be better to add more accessories like soft pillow, and more vary materials as the surfaces. Blended colors are also valuable on that furniture.I think it is better to be more inventing, creative, and more exposing better than hiding your true emotions within. You can make an additional parts to put on that furniture, well try to rethink more and more until all your desires exposed.
The Dining Set I Bought From Reids Furniture Ltd W
The Dining set I bought from Reids Furniture Ltd were good quality. BUT I wished I had seen some reviews before buying anything from this company.
We bought a lovely Dining Table and Chair set on the 2nd Jan 2009 for over £800. We were told that our furniture would arrive between 6-8 weeks.Great I thought.....
Ok so 6-8 weeks came and went after several phone calls to very stroppy customer service operators we were told our furniture would be delivered on the 17th April (mmm 15wks after buying and paying for the furniture!!) The day was a Friday and we were told by the delivery driver that if we had any complaints we should contact Customer services within 72hrs of receiving the goods...which so happened to be a Sunday and customer services are closed at the weekend!
Anyway we unpacked the furniture to find that one of the chair legs was broken. And the table had a crack in the granite and scratches and dents around the edges of the table!!
We phoned Reids on the Monday morning to complain.Which went ok and was told that someone would come to see the furniture to check it. We were told we would get a phone call to arrange a date within 48hrs....we are still waiting! We phoned again four times in two weeks to see when someone was coming out to view the items. To be told they couldnt send someone out until the end of MAY!!!! At this point we were so fed up with the whole situation that we decided to ask for them to come and take the furniture away and get a refund Immediately! To be told that they couldn't refund us until someone was sent out to review the products...grrrrrr!!!!!
So I decided enough was enough and sent a letter for the sales of goods act 1979 (ammended) to them, hoping this would make them sit up and listen. It did! We had a guy out the very next Day (end of may my....) and they are picking our furniture up next friday...THANK GOD ITS OVER!!!
Amen to that! Never buy from Reids Furniture!!! And I might add, never have anything to do with Homeserve who provide a worthless extended warranty for Reids Furniture. I was mis-sold a leather three-piece suite by Reids, being assured by the salesman that it was superior quality (it wasn't!), that it would last a lifetime (short life!), and that the extended warranty would effectively give me full cover on faults for five years (untrue!). When I contacted Reids customer service about peeling of the leather I was told quite rudely "it's out of guarantee so it's not our problem". Homeserve wrote to me saying that "peeling of leather is not an insured peril" despite the fact that peeling of leather is specifically listed in their warranty document under "what is covered". Conclusion? Don't trust Reids or Homeserve.
