Can't Recommend Highly Enough
It was a leap of faith to order curtains online but my experience couldn't have been better. I was sent plenty of swatches that I'd requested and had great advice from Nicki on the phone... and not just once. My curtains arrived in about 3 weeks. The fabric is fantastic, complete with blackout lining and beautifully made. They look a million dollars but cost a fraction of the price that I'd pay in a shop. I'll definitely be ordering from Montgomery again.Thanks again, Nicki!

‘very Poor Service’
After waiting over a month for my curtains to arrive(website quoted up to 28 days), I emailed Montgomery/Curtain Concessions to find out why they had not been delivered but received no reply.
I then rang them, to be told that they did not have the fabric in stock (even though it stated that it was available when I placed my order) and that they 'hoped' to have sufficient fabric delivered in a further 2 months.
After the quoted time had elapsed and I had received no communication OR curtains from Montgomery/Curtain Concessions, I emailed numerous times again, to be given the same excuse.
Finally over 4 months after ordering, the curtains have arrived.
What kind of company values its customers so little that they can't even email an apology for the delay/offer a cancellation or reply to an email?
I will certainly never order from this company again!

Fabulous Curtains, Great Service!
I ordered two pairs of curtains on 2nd February and paid with Paypal. Then I read some of the reviews on this site and got a bit worried, so I rang the company, as I'd had a confirmation from Paypal but not from Montgomery. The girl on the phone was really helpful, said she'd check on it, and then rang me back straightaway to tell me there'd been an IT glitch so she emailed me my order confirmation directly. The curtains arrived today, just two days later and I'm over the moon with them.
Buyer Beware
I ordered curtains online from Montgomery and paid with Paypal on 5/4/14. They responded to say the fabric was out of stock and estimated a delivery date of 2/5/14. As the curtains had not arrived by 6/5/14 I chased delivery and was told the fabric was due in at the end of June. This was not acceptable to me as I had ordered blackout linings for the bedroom due to lots of sun coming in early morning. I asked for the order to be cancelled and my money returned via Paypal. I got a reply on 7/5/14 apologising for letting me down and agreeing to cancel the order, but saying their policy was to refund by cheque and my payment should be sent out that day. I did not receive the cheque and chased by email on 15/5/14. I did not receive a reply. At this stage I was worried, I googled and discovered the company had financial problems last year. On 18/5/14 I set up a dispute through the Paypal Resolution Centre. A few days later, with no response from Montgomery, I escalated the dispute to a claim. Paypal have now refunded the money to my account. I am very grateful to Paypal, but have a very poor opinion of Montgomery. I am posting this so others can be warned.

Excellent Quality And Service
I ordered full length made to measure curtains and a made to measure roman blind from Montgomery.co.uk on 30th November. They had a special sale on and the price was cheaper than I could find on any of the competing online sites. I had some doubts when I placed the order as I had read the previous 2 reviews on this site which were extremely poor. However my experience couldn't have been more different. I was expecting delivery by 12th December but in fact the curtains and blind arrived 5 days early on 7th December. They were very well packed and came with good quality fittings (although it would have been useful if they had supplied raw plugs and not just screws for the Roman Blind). The measurements for both items were spot on and from the paperwork you could see that a quality control review had taken place before despatch. I chose to have blackout linings on both the curtains and the blind and the quality is excellent and they hang really well. I have been delighted and wouldn't hesitate to use Montgomery.co.uk again - I felt it was important to add my positive review to this site to provide a more balanced view to future purchasers.

They Didn't Appear To Want My Business
I ordered a swatch from the Montomery blinds website and liked it when it arrived. I tried ordering online but the order wouldn't process. The site showed me a message to say that I needed to order over the phone for the particular fabric I wanted.
I called their sales team and spoke to a fairly disinterested operator. She didn't know why the order wouldn't process and she said that she would call me back. She didn't.
Three hours later, I called again and was told that the fabric I wanted was not available in the width I required for my rather large window.
I didn't want to waste my time ordering another swatch that would also not be suitable for the window, so I asked the sales person whether she could tell me what ones would be appropriate.
She said she couldn't and offered no further help.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that she was just not having a good day, so I sent a very polite email to their customer support team and asked whether they could recommend a fabric.
They didn't reply.
I thought that I would take my business elsewhere and was surprised to see that many (most) of the other blind companies on the web provide useful information about maximum widths when viewing fabrics on their website.
As a result, I was able to order a swatch for some fabric that I knew would fit the window from another company.
Their price was well over half that of Montogmery (who I now realise are very expensive). The quality didn't suffer either and I was well pleased with my purchase.
In summary, I wouldn't bother with Montomgery Blinds if I were you. From my experience, I think it is fair to say that they are disinterested and expensive.
The Worst Company Ever!
I would strongly advise consumers to research who they spend their hard earned money with, i wouldn't even give this company 1 star. I ordered made to measure curtains from this company and the customer service/after sales is awful they employ people as 'managers' who do not understand the way curtains are put together and advise customers that Montgomerys do not offer refunds! They do not take responsibilty and refuse to put right something that is clearly wrong i,e bad advice from a poorly trained manager, they talk down at you and basically write you off as soon as they have your money. When they say they are going to phone you back they never do so you end up wasting more money on your phone bill to find out what is going on. I now have curtains I hate the sight of as it reminds me of Montgomerys and the poor level - or rather lack of customer care they offer. I curse the day I went into Beales store who have them working in their department - I should have realised there was something wrong as they never seem to be rushed off their feet, If only I kept on walking preferably towards John Lewis.
