Bought Our Spring Air Mattress Over A Year Ago...h
Bought our Spring Air mattress over a year ago...hate it....the body impressions get worse and worse--we are not "huge" people either! Very uncomfortable....getting ready to contact them and dread the process after hearing horror stories of dealing with unsatisfactory mattresses! But--just hoping I can help steer someone else from going with a Spring Air!!!!
we bought a Spring air mattress and when we loved the one at the store when it was delivered it was a whole different story, the bed was very hard the guy swore it was a plush, but every bone in my body hurts, I have cancer and it is through my whole body i go for chemo every other month so I need a soft bed . WE went back to our store and the store manger was so kind the one at the store was great, so he said I have a king in the back let me bring it out for you to try........Well low and behold the bed was hard and was labeled plush, the manger sat on both and couldn't believe it the only difference on the label was the queen had 4% more foam now how in the world could that change the feel of the bed. I left the store crying told my husband to do what ever he could. We feel so defeated so I can feel your pain and I do mean feel the pain. Candace
This Was A Spring Air Mattress We Bought From Macy
This was a Spring Air Mattress we bought from Macy's. We had the mattress inspected three times before Spring Air concluded that it was faulty i.e. the sag was more than 1.75 inches. We measured the sag at 2.5 inches. Macy's would NOT deal with us. They claimed they discontinued service with S.Air and we would have to go there. S.Air wanted yet another inspection (after they had already deemed it faulty) plus a 16 page questionnaire plus all receipts plus pictures etc etc. We threatened Macy's with the Better Business Bureau and Small Claims and Visa and eventually they agreed to swap out the mattress, but for a Stearns and Foster. After reading reviews I would say we are still in a bad situation. WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK, but Macy's refuses. Its a swap or nothing. Macy's customer service was poor. We will never buy another product from Macy's. Wish us luck on the swap.
