These Guys Will Mess You Around
I didn't check any reviews before I bought my bed from this company. I sooooooo wish I had. I have now had a broken bed in my house for 2 months as this useless company are so hard to get hold of. This means that they have now had my money for 2 months and I am still sleeping on the floor. They only use a courier who can collect 9 to 5 on Monday to Friday. This means that I am out when they try to collect the broken bed from me. I'm sorry but for people with real jobs, this is just hopeless. And when I have a day off work (today) do they come and collect the broken bed from me as I have requested? No. And they are refusing to give me my money back until their (entirely useless) broken bed is back with them in their warehouse. WHY???
delivered a damaged bed to me also, collected it after much effort but still no refund - credit card dealing with it. The website is now suspended so doesn't look good.

Ordered and paid for bed,no mention it was out of stock.Was only after a couple of weeks when I rang that I found Out,Delay after delay,container expected in,then not,finally,good news,its arrived,waited in all day,no bed,phoned and was told its gone back,damaged,now waiting for refund,all the way along had to ring them.Can"t believe with hundreds of beds on site but they only have 3 in stock !!.stay well clear,very dodgy.

Took My Money But No Product - Disgraceful Company!!
I paid for my bed online and recieved a phone call to say that it had been discontinued and they could not get it for me. We agreed that they would refund me. I phoned them 3 times about my refund and was told it had been processed but no credit showed in my account. Luckily I paid by credit card and so the card comapny are dealing with my dispute. I definately do not reccommend using this company!

I saw the Birlea atlas metal framed bed on this companys site for a very good price,at least £20 cheaper than other sites.It was offered in black & I particularly wanted cream,so I sent an email enquiry before placing my order,I received a reply almost immedietly to confirm that it was available in cream & even gave guidance as to where to fill in the colour preference on the order form if I placed one.I ordered the bed frame last Saturday & took delivery of it less than 1 week later on the Friday.The sales team emailed confirmation of my order within 2 days (bear in mind this order was placed on a Saturday) & then emailed again when dispatch was due,with a delivery date of the 12th.I knew I would'nt be at home on the day of delivery,so emailed to see if the courier would leave it in a safe place on my property,the customer services lady,Lisa emailed the courier with my request within 2hours,sure enough they were more than happy to do that.I arrived home on the 12th to my brand new bed,well packaged in cardboard & wrapped in cellophane,with no damage to either the boxes(it comes in 3 seperate boxex)or the frame. The bed was easy to assemble with 2 people,but would have been possible for 1 person to do on their own(it comes with clear instructions)although it may have taken a bit longer! I am extremely pleased with this company & their customer service,the bed is great & looks much more expensive than it was.I would have no hesitation in recommending them. ( I previously ordered a similar bed from Argos,paid for it,then had to wait 28 days for a delivery date,which was another week later,this date was unacceptable for me as I had to be at home to sign for the delivery,I requested that it be left in a safe place,to be told that wasnt possible as the cardboard packaging would get wet if it rained!!needless to say I cancelled my order & thats how I stumbled across this wonderful company)

Disgraceful Company !!!
This is by far the most terrible company - customer service is disgusting, almost none existent ! In March 2011, I ordered a bed, good price...about £20 cheaper than anywhere Id seen it..Here comes the trouble!!! The bed arrived a few weeks later, courier arrived in his wagon and opened it up after knockin at the door - All I can say is atrocious, it was like Beadles About as he rumbled around his near empty van picking up the pieces of the bed then dropping them on my doorstep as though nothing was wrong. I was almost laughing in disbelief !!! I took pics and sent them in to them to have it collected which to be fair, they did as I signed for it damaged.The replacement bed was apparently 'out of stock' so had to wait another few weeks for that. Then when it turned up, was in worse condition than the first - I was beside myself with anger! I got onto them and provided pictures again. This time theyre attitude changed and they were asking for more evidence and allsorts of delaying tactics for weeks on end, somebodies unavailable etc or complete ignorance of my emails. Of the 20 odd emails and dozen or so questions I have asked them (including for the complaint procedure), guess how many they replied on...4 or 5. Of those that they do answer none of my specific queries or questions are touched on. If I say 'why is nobody replying to my questions?' they say 'Have you sent proof of damage' If I say 'who is the director?' they say 'We can offer you a refund' just after almost daily emails and the odd chaser phone call I get some sense, either an email out of the blue promising me a call or email asking me another question - Nobody EVER calls ! An email states no responses just what they want from me and even attempting to wriggle out of accepting that the bed was damaged despite numerous pictures and signing for it damaged - They were making me feel guilty and ignoring me hoping I would go away without refund ! Some more weeks of pestering them passed and they eventually agreed to pick-up and refund, they picked up the bed two weeks ago and I am still chasing for the 'prompt refund' I was promised, what a JOKE !If I have any trouble Im just going to the Office of Fair trading, they deserve to be shopped, this company is farcical.

The bed frames i ordered arrived in a very poor condition with multiple deep dents and scuffs.
The company also failed to include all the pieces of my order.
I would never use this company again! they are terrible and do not put the customers needs first.

Beware - This Is The Worst Company I Have Ever Dea
BEWARE - this is the worst company I have ever dealt with!
I'm always worried about buying items such as furniture online however consumer law states that items can be returned even there's nothing wrong with the goods plus their website backs this up and states that you can return items for a £25 charge. Don't believe it, they are refusing to collect the bed saying they're not offering this service any more. Their customer service is almost non existent, on one occasion we were left waiting 15 days for a response even after chasing them with emails and phone calls. We're now in the middle of a 'stand-off' so we're about to contact trading standards and or get some legal advice.
Yes the beds are cheap but at the expense of having no customer service, if we have to arrange our own transport to return the bed this will probably double the overall cost plus if you take into consideration the amount of time we've spent on the phone, writing emails, reading consumer laws etc we could have bought 3 beds from somewhere else!
Discountbedframesdirect.co.uk supplied this customer with a perfect bed frame in the exact size and model which they ordered. The customer then decided that the model was not appropriate due to ordering an incorrect size for their room. Our policy on this is that the customer has the right to return the goods within 7 working days of recieving them, it is the customers responsibility to return the goods, however we then refunded the goods in full.

Zero Customer Service - The Price Is Attractive Bu
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE - the price is attractive but be wary! I recently ordered a bed as the price was good and I was told over the phone that delivery would be 2-3 days. Funds were debited from my account and then I waited. I chased and chased and it was only after 2 weeks that I was informed by email that there was a funds issue as I paid with a French credit card. I've cancelled the order and have now purchased from firstfurniture at a better price - fingers crossed this time. I hope this helps other buyers avoid the inconvenience and poor service I've experienced..
