Fantastic Service
Very impressed with this company. Order was placed 11 am on 8/5/17 and the bed arrived at 11.16 on 9/5/17. The quality of the bed is fabulous and the service second to none, the delivery guys were extremely helpful too. The bed recycling service is also a bonus. Prices are very reasonable.

Appalling Service And Terrible Communication
I ordered a bed from this company for my daughter's birthday in June. Despite my payment being taken and a delivery date scheduled, once the date arrived, the bed did not. After ringing Bedstar I was told the bed was out of stock. As we specifically wanted this bed, we agreed to wait until the new stock came in, 2 months later! The scheduled date arrived and yet again, no delivery and no contact. It took another phone call from me to be told that there had been another delay. I was advised to choose a different bed which I duly did, as this has a better delivery date. Amazingly, the delivery finally arrived (albeit still several days later than advised). We then had one happy daughter who helped to unpack all the items ready for assembly. We should have known, it wouldn't be that simple. THE BED WAS THE WRONG COLOUR!!! We then had to repack all the items, wait for the delivery to be collected and wait for the correct bed to arrive. Finally, 4 months after the original payment was taken, the correct bed arrived, DAMAGED!! And just to add insult to this, my offer of compensation for keeping the damaged section was.......... £10.00!! Never again will I buy from this company. The stock system is ludicrous, allowing payment to be taken even if an item is not available, their communication was appalling and they find £10 a suitable gesture for all this inconvenience. STEER WELL CLEAR AND PAY A BIT MORE FOR A COMPANY WITH A BETTER REPUTATION!

Order with risk, you may find your "in stock" bed suddenly is not in stock the day before your bed is delivered.
I ordered my bed 7 days ago, with expected delivery of tomorrow. But I am informed today that my order had been cancelled and would now not be receiving this bed.
The worst of it all, is I phoned up two days ago to check if the bed was on track, and I was reassured it would be delivered on the 5th.
They still have my money for the bed, and are unable to return it for the next 3-5days. I now have no bed to sleep on, and with very little notice I am unable to order another bed until I have been refunded the full amount.
Bed Star have done nothing to apologise. I asked if the price could be matched because of the lack of communication and diabolical logistics system your company uses. The manager of the advisor I spoke to then proceeded to offer me a discount of £20 on a £549 bed which I think is an insult. She lacked remorse and avoided speaking to me and passed the message to the advisor to relay to me, the lack of professionalism of Bedstar and the manger is outrageous. I'm sure if the manager or the directors of Bedstar where offered a £20 discount or to go Bedless for a week they would be disgusted.
So, DON'T TRUST THEIR STOCK SYSTEM.

Bed star Direct are terrible to deal with and provide poor quality goods.
Was promised the bed would be delivered on the specified day. Took the day off work as they couldn't even give an am or pm slot. When I called them at 3 pm I was told the delivery truck had broken down and wouldn't be delivered that day. They could deliver the next but again no delivery time slot. I was kept waiting on the phone for so long I actually called them on the other line so I could remind them I was still waiting. SO as I needed the bed in a hurry rearranged all plans to be home the following day. Then surprise surprise the bed was delivered at 6.45 that night. Delivery driver even said that you lie and he was never contacted about delivery times etc. and no vehicle had broke down. In fact the bed was in a warehouse 10 mins away. No contact from Bedstar!
The bed is another story the Serene Ester. The wood quality is extremely poor, the fittings ridiculously poor quality and the mid support rail was broken. Could I get through to the company again.... did I get a follow up phone call...did I heck. Appalling customer service, poor quality goods. All together a very negative experience and I would urge all to avoid.

Order Bed Fine But Where Is It
as I needed a new bed I search bedstars website I found one I liked and ordered it with a choice of when I wanted it deliverd which was weds23rd april . on 22nd I received a email stating that my bed would be delivered at 8;10-12.10 on that day 23/4/14 so I comfirm with local bed man to pick my old bed and desposed of it then a email at 10.34 saying my bed was not being drop off now till 24th april which was not happy about no bed to sleep on and my partner 8months pregnant so I booked here in the local hotel for a cost of 65pound then at 20.37 I receive another email saying you order will be with you between 8.20-12.20 on the 24/4/14 so after a lovely night on the sofa up early waiting for my new bed no email to say bed was not copming then at 10.26 today 24th I get another email. say bed not coming and there not sure when I will get . I am very upset that you are willing to say your bed in stock which I believe it clearly not of your delivery company you use are useless now I have to wait 3-5 working days to get my refund which really takes the mick. bed star should really be called get a bed in a hotel as you won't receive yours till we can be botherd to send it .com . not bitter just no bed to sleep on and a 8 month pregnant partner cheers bed star injoy you bed when u get home tonight
Same here, ordered bed from this rubbish company on sat 21st April and booked a slot for Fri 2th April. Get an email Friday saying sorry not in stock but due for delivery tomorrow (Sat 26th), Saturday morning I check the tracker its says on its was as scheduled.... then I get an email around 10am saying
"Due to a loading issue your order is not out for delivery today. Panther are currently investigating and we will contact you to rebook once resolved. Panther Logistics"
I say DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER... CANNOT CALL THEM ON WEEKENDS EITHER??? Hmmm
Card Blocked After Used On Site, No Contact Or Delivery Made
So far I am hugely unimpressed. Immediately after using their website I had my card blocked by Visa as a high risk alert was triggered by the site. I live in an awkward area as access is blocked during certain times by the council - despite the clear advice that this was the case, and the company being local to the area and, one would have hoped, aware of this situation the booking was made for a time that would not work. The phone call 'an hour before delivery' was not made as promised, as at least this could have been addressed at that point, so I would assume that there was never any intention to deliver, and the excuse could be made for an early finish at my expense.
The complaint is in progress, but judging by some of the other reviews I do not think I will hold my breath.

Rude, Lazy, Incompetent Staff - Worst Company Ever
My experience with Bedstar has gone from bad to worse.
The company lied on the delivery information, claiming the bed was 20kg, when it is actually 120kg. Innocent mistake? Not according to the delivery driver who said they did this to avoid paying proper delivery fees. Told me he should have returned the bed, undelivered, based on this.
On unpacking the bed, a bunk for my children, it was broken, and therefore not possible to construct. After contacting 'customer service' immediately, I experienced anything but helpful service.
First part of the conversation consisted of excuses about why my issue hadn't been looked into. Second part involved the lady on the phone being rude, lazy, sarcastic and unhelpful. She couldn't be bothered dealing with my issue and delayed even looking at it for a number of hours.
I very clearly outlined the issue in my support request, stating that I needed the bed constructed for Monday of the following week as my children were coming off a 24 hour flight, and that I needed the bed constructed by that time.
Well guess what? The wrong part was delivered. Not a surprise given my experience with the Bedstar. Subsequent contact with Bedstar has failed to resolve the situation. So now I am stuck with a defective bed. My children are coming off a very long flight today, will be very tired, and will have no bed. All because of the laziness and incompetence of Bedstar customer support.
Terrible is a fair description of my experience with this company. Maybe I was unlucky in that I received a faulty bed. That's still no excuse for the shocking service I have since received from this company.
I just wish I could give them zero stars, as based on my experience, they don't even deserve one.
There are plenty of companies selling the same product. Bedstar have many competitors. If something goes wrong for you, don't be surprised if you get my treatment too.
Don't use Bedstar. Go to their competition. If something goes wrong for you too, don't be surprised if you get the same treatment I did.
