Cheap Substandard Rubbish

arrived severely damaged, wrong colours and design.some of the doors and end panels different colours,worktops scratched gouged and even base units broken. i have a kitchen if u can call it that in boxes awaiting uplift and i want a refund.they are so full of RUBBISH when u call "oh we have up to 21 days to correct any problems".its TRASH and i have reported them to watchdog the newspapers and trading standard.i did try to be reasonable but they offered to re deliver replacements in 2 weeks! ive already waited over a week on a resolve and nowt.if they were really trying to be that helpful they would be arranging a delivery specially to rectify this PILE OF RUBBISH I HAVE! now i have a disabled child in the house who i cannot cook for and there is no end in sight. do i report myself to social services or something as i cant provide something as basic as a cooked meal for my child because of them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON. ITS SUBSTANDARD CHEAP NASTY TRASH DELIVERED THE CHEAPEST WAY POSSIBLE! 2 MEN AND A SMALL VAN THE LOAD WASNT EVEN SECURED!

Oh my god. I sympathise with you people that have had dealings with the company but THANK GOD FOR YOUR REVIEWS. I arranged for their designer to come to my home on Sunday 20 July. Thank God I read your reviews before their visit. I am about to cancel the appointment and use a reputable company instead.

I hope all your issues eventually get resolved.

We have just had a Stil haus Kitchen installed !

That's what this company is called now !!

Wish I had read the reviews before going a head with the kitchen !

Omg ! We had the designer out to design out kitchen ! Very friendly bloke ! Alarm bells should have rung when he asked for £100 deposit in cash !

He said the company would be on the phone to arrange delivery ! At first we didn't get a phone call

But then they rang to deliver kitchen units !

My husband was in for the delivery & said the sink we ordered was damaged & the delivery guy said the new one would come with the fitters !

The fitter rang to cancel as they were booked to do a kitchen the same day as ours was suppose to be fitted ! So it was the Friday they fitted it

The fitters took no care installing it ! Chips & scratches needlessly !

The fitter did mention some of the doors has chips in them & he would fit them biut we had to ring the company for replacements ! Also the fitters did not have the new sink ! So they put on a spare sink the fitters had on their van ! When they were finished

They said we had to check things & if any probs contact the customer care !

Well that has been a joke !

We have 3 doors with chips in them ! Also one of our draws dosnt match the rest ! They are a walnut colour ! The top draw is a different colour to the other 2 !

Also inside the units ours are a strange lilac colour too not white like what they are suppose to be !

Our new sink still hasn't Come !

We rang customer service ! Which takes ages !

We have 3 doors damaged ! She asked if they are fitted which my husband said yes ! She said because they had been fitted they can't be replaced ! As fitter or us could have damaged them !

She they would replace draw & sink should be with us in 5 days ! Mmm !? After reading all the other reviews on here I doubt this !

Why can't they replace the damaged doors !

Suppose we already lucky to have all our kitchen

My husband is trying to fix the doors that are damaged !

Avoid this company like the plague !

They are a rip off ! Take your money quick & give you a cheap terrible kitchen !

Wish I had only knew all of this before handing over money !!

now on facebook/google as kitchen-offers, fill in a form. No address or contact numbers. I had the `designer` out but after seeing the paperwork he left did some digging and found a lot of adverse comments. Have cancelled but could so easily have been in the same position. Now trading as Kitchen Design Lancashire in my area

Awful - Do Not Buy!

I have fallen for the sales pitch! I have an incomplete kitchen, poor customer service, always on hold, I've emailed on numerous occasions. The fitter took his cash, even when the job wasn't completed. I am complaining to Trading Standards! I would give them no stars if I could!

Shocking!

When the kitchen was delivered a lot of parts were missing and the worktops had holes in. It's been a horrifc experience trying to get hold of the company to get the missing or replacement parts - on hold for 40mins+, automated voice stating you are 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st in line before routing back to the operator and the operators are rude.

Having received the 3rd delivery of "corrected" items, once again some of the requested items are wrong or missing. We were also told that having already had the courier out, delivery will no longer be free!

AVOID this company!!

Poor poor quality, do not under any circumstance use their kitchen fitting service, cupboards don't line up, plinths n cornices chopped up n joined together badly, still waiting for granite work top since last December, I am on the phone every week and am made false promises. Do NOT pay in cash, we have learnt the hard way

Who Is Willing To Team Up To Get This Guys?

They called themselves Kithchen Supplies, and are based in Manchester.

Had the same experience, rude people, have supplied poor quality goods not as decribed and have not delivered missing doors even after four months!

If anyone is willing to team up to get these guys reply to this post and we can take it from there.

Hi, unfortunately came across this site too late. Our experience mirrors everybody else's. When they delivered the wrong hob extractor fan and sink, the fitters advised to buy them ourselves and Stil Haus would refund us.

When we called 'Customer Services' - more like customer disservice, wet on hold for 60 minutes +, were told we shouldn't have accepted the wrong items and wouldn't be refunded.

After having an electrician round it became apparent that the power connection plate was damaged. Called them again and was met with an aggressive woman who was telling me they would give me £50 to get find someone to fix it. I advised her of the terms of the Sales of Goods Act and that I would be forced to make a claim in the small claims court. I was then told a guy would come out in 7 days to collect the oven and take it back to see if it could be fixed.

He arrived at 20.15 to collect - have very little confidence in the result of this.

After calling citizens advice I have written a letter

Yes please I am more than happy to team to get this compnay that should not be allowed to continue!

I have been dupped by them all my cabinets are wrong. I paid for high gloss black & glass doors, instead I have White gloss with parts missing, no black gloss no glass doors everything is totally wrong. My old kitchen was ripped out so the new one can be installed but to our horror we were lefet with no kitchen for 2 weeks, Having 2 kids one with disability it has been very traumatic, We have had to wash our dirty dishes in the bathtub! Yuck!

Please can we get together & put a stop to them? I have lost my money got no kitchen they will not take my calls they are so rude they even disscount the phone!

I have been extrmly fortunate with my builder who is working extremly hard to get me & my kids a kitchen so that we can start our lives. Not everyone is that fortunate to have an Angle as thier builder as I have been. I am a single parent on benifits & I had to save up so hard I had to deprive my kids fro a lot of things just to pay for the worlds worst kitchen!

They need to be stopped.

My daughter and my self have paid deposits for a kitchen, hers should have come on Monday so she ripped her kitchen out. They didn't deliver it. they phoned up and was told it would be deliverd in 2 days so she had to cancel it so losing her deposit of £150 even though it says on the back of the contract form £100 deposit and to top it off he as only put £100 on the form which she didn't notice she only got the money from a court settlement so wouldn't have been able to aford one before it makes me sick. I phoned them and a young woman from dispatch was very rude indeed. There are more numbers than you think to get intouch with but ended up with a companie called Lancashire interior home designs, i called today and she said their called kitchenunits.co. So before i pay for my kitchen or lose my deposit I would like to know how you get on. Plus what was the units like?

Disgraceful

The items arrived in time but the items were not what we had ordered. The doors were not what we have ordered and the side panels did not match the doors neither in color nor in texture. We had endless telephone calls but was put on hold every time. We were not allowed to speak to anybody. Terrible service. After two months they called to ask if we're pleased with the service...by that time we bought different doors. They offered a credit but we refused. This firm cannot be trusted. We should have read the reviews before ordering any product from them.

Fitters Stole Cornice And Pelmet

I ordered my kitchen from this company and unlike others I actually received mine fine however I had the kitchen fitters were in yesterday and although they fitted all my kitchen cabinets and work tops I noticed, unfortunately after they .left, that they had not fitted the cornice or pelmet and had taken these with them. I have called the fitters and got no answer and when I call the company I just get transferred to customer services and then nobody answers. I have also noticed that my white kitchen cabinets actually look light lilac in artificial light so amazing to try and source end panels. I don't think I will ever receive my cornice or pelmet back and Avery tempted to report through fitters for theft. Please don't use this company it has really spoilt my Christmas!!!!!!!

like you, I have provided all the evidence to trading Standards. i also suddenly received calls from 'the kitchen company', seemed they didnt know which name they should be referring to. I was not too well at the time and didnt want more stress so queried this as you say, miraculous response. These calls followed a raid on one of their premises and the arrest of 3 people, hence this change of heart. My concern now is that the existing parts I have are already blistering and peeling and I am not confident if they send me parts, they will be the correct ones. It does sound like they are making the effort with you. the calls I had were a little abrasive. it would be interesting to know if you had the same contact as me, first name [name removed]? i understood he was now on leave so would appreciate the contact you have. thank you.

Hiya, I had a man from York trading standards to take a statement from me. He is trying to take the company to court. I had to contact my local trading standard (Durham) to get them to take my case up. He sent them two letters and had no reply. Then out of the blue he got a phone call from them asking for a number from me, by some kind of miracle they have been trying to sort all my issues out, sending new parts and even phoning me on bank holiday Monday to see if I had received the new parts and if they were ok!! I don't know why they have had a change of heart but its worth a try contacting your local trading standards too. I could give you a contact email for the man I'm dealing with if that help. Hi, I just wrote quite a long reply to this and then when I pressed send I had to log in, forgot password and int he process lost everything I wrote! So in a nutshell , I am still having problems despite having sent a letter in Jan allowing so many days to resolve before taking legal action - they did nothing so I have been trying to get help to get the money to repair the damage. the few doors that are fitted are already blistering and paint peeling - not exactly good quality.

So, my main suggestion before you potentially endure a very nasty experience trying to see them face to face, is to contact trading standards in York. after my various communications with trading standards I have been advised that with so many complaints again this company and various other names which lead to same source, Trading Standards York are heading up the investigation and will be taking action against the company for criminal action. Do give them a call. I have spent so much time on this and at the moment need time away from the stress but I am not giving up, cannot afford to and also they should not get away with ripping people off. If anyone has managed to get a named person who the money is banked to that would help. Good luck.

ordered our kitchen in March 2012 delivered 3 weeks later paid cash on delivery as required ,only to discover we were missing 7 doors the driver said the warehouse were out of stock and they would follow when in stock.

Now November no doors Hundreds of phone calls always rude on the phone .

Never Never pay cash you have no come back Complained to trading standards but it seems there is little they can do .Do not use this firm at any cost they are now trading as Solid Wood Kitchens look at web site rang no same company had doors in stock but wanted us to pay by bankers order !!!

I am pleased for you. It is definitely worth chasing them through the legal channels.

After 11 months we now have everything, a couple of the doors have scratches, but we are giving up now as we have had enough stress.

Thank you very much, trading standards are chasing them re the Web site not displaying proper contact info, they have delivered my things now after hearing from tstandards, one door was damaged,e mailed the sales manager there the only half decent person there, and had a new door within a day or two, astonished, they still owe me 150 pound but it's not worth my stress I have to let it go for my sanity.

These are rude ,evasive and the stuff they do sell if you manage to get it is poor quality to be kind,NEVER use them anyone who looks at this.
